OK, a seperate thread to discuss the beginners thread.

I thought that maybe we ought to try and help some of the less experienced players. I know how they must feel as I tried to jump on a CoD game and had the old spawn and die, spawn and die experience until I got ****ed off and left. The fact that no-one was taking to each other or responding to my questions didn't help either.

So one or two admins plus two or three newbs on Co-Op. Just general guidance and helpful suggestions is all that I think we'd need. If we try and do too much then it could get complicated. Basically give them a chance to play the game without too much pressure. Sort of on-the-job training?

Once they've had a few goes we then swap to a versus map and let them play with the infected classes, acting as guinea-pigs when required. When they've had a few goes with each class we then give them a 'real' game so they can practice their new found skills.

Thoughts?
Any particular night when people would be available?
I only see this as being a one or two-off activity and not a regular skills workshop.
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

I thought it sounded familiar.

Ah well this is another kickstart for the concept then. Looks like there are at least two people interested so far.
