Looking for help on coms problem i now seem to have .....all new PC and i seem now to have some sort of feedback problem

If people have heard me trying to use it could u let me know what its doing ...quiet..buzzing...feedback

also i think there is a voice loopback command so i can try it myself

and also any direction would be of help

voice_loopback 1 to hear yourself and voice_loopback 0 to turn it off again.

have you muted the microphone in windows and turned down or muted all the aux inputs on your soundcard?

just had a pop with the loopback....it souns like i have a bee buzzing in the background  :huh:

looking at my windows setting they seem and sound fine ......also in the HL voice tweek it sounds ok ..its just in game ....

i have heard the noise in the background before when other players have talked so im thinking maybe interfearance or voice settings too high.....

Usually comes in my experience from having the slidey bar too high on the voice tweak prog.
