Tasted a few new (to me) spirits from Gandalf and the hotel manager and from Fatbob a very nice brandy. Very generous. Ninja provided a nice 16 yr old Lagavulin (not for the first time I hear) + an 18  Talisker and Oldie and Pen both provided a botle of talisker 10 year old. I did see FBG with an Aberlour late last night but he escaped with it unsullied.

Enjoyed meeting old and new Deadmen and had a great time.

P.S Whitey also supplied a wonderful 12 year old Glenfiddich
P.P.S The mists are slowly clearing from the memory.

Yeah, no one wanted any after they'd poslished off half the talisker and others you'd had out :sad: I drank some of it though. I'll bring some more next time.

Just got in (20 mins ago).  First thing I HAD to do was to get the rig back in position and booted - alls well

Did I beat Delanvital home?  Six and a half hours is a long bluddy time!  Made longer I admit by stopping for a MaccyD and promptly falling asleep for 45 mins in the car park!

Last year I wrote a 'review' come synopsis thingy - will do the same later - just to ram the point home to those that have never made it to the LAN.

I had a fantastic time and like Delanvital, whose company I enjoyed the whole weekend (thanks bud), I was relaxed and thankfully far away from the real world.

Good to see you all - Hopefully I can make October too
