Well that's another fine Lan you got me into!

Thanks to all who made it possible.

Knackered, my eyes hurt and I feel strangely light-headed. :yahoo:
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

So....that means you'll be up for a little L4D this evening?

Another top LAN, big thanks to all who made it possible. I'll hopefully see you all again in 6 months :)

Oh, and I finally got around to paying my subscription. Yea, I know, it was about time...

A fantastic LAN and special props to Penfold for turning up late, Ninja for being loud again, Sheepy for managing to hold a marker pen to attempt to write 'Target' on a whiteboard only to miss the board and almost fall over, and Gandalf & Tobious for helping out with networks and making Cat6 cables.  I think a special thanks should go to GhostMjr who despite not being there in person still managed to run up the biggest bandwidth usage as he sent a portable hard drive to the LAN instead!

Safely home, what a weekend and some great competitions!  Thanks for the fun folks, see you again in October for LAN XVI.

Back home now and can report that I took Delanvital to get deported as well so all-in-all a good job done :)

Echoing TL's, thanks to those that stepped up to the plate and set everything up in my absence. I was a few hours late as I had to make a detour.

I'll put up a thank ye list shortly and also sort out the badges.

Cheers all, it all seemed to go rather smoothly..... gotta love those new switches, they made one helluva difference :thumbsup2:

Back safely feeling the wear and tear.
Good racing, malts and company:D

Tasted a few new (to me) spirits from Gandalf and the hotel manager and from Fatbob a very nice brandy. Very generous. Ninja provided a nice 16 yr old Lagavulin (not for the first time I hear) + an 18  Talisker and Oldie and Pen both provided a botle of talisker 10 year old. I did see FBG with an Aberlour late last night but he escaped with it unsullied.

Enjoyed meeting old and new Deadmen and had a great time.:D

Thanks to all who organised the LAN and roll on XVI

P.S Whitey also supplied a wonderful 12 year old Glenfiddich

I returned home to find my Linksys wireless bridge completely dead, and smelling slightly burnt. Yay!

Good job I borrowed (stole) a massive piece of Cat6 from work :D

smilodon

In spite of missing nearly 24 hours of the thing due to my mystery stomach bug, plus missing all the competitions, the raffle and the auction... oh and blowing my PC up in the process, I strangely also had a good time. At least no one stole my suitcase this time, which is a bonus

See you at LAN XVI.
smilodon
Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

Whitey

The Scots made it home as well with only a short delay at passport control holding us up.

Thanks to everyone for making it such a great LAN :D

Note to self: Lameduck doesn't like 12 year old Glenfiddich :narnar:
and remember not to drink whisky next year (My head felt like it had been hit with a hammer on Saturday morning).

GhostMjr
