Liberator

With this being an obviously dull name I decided to do a little google search.

This particular name has joined hundreds, if not thousands of forums today.

Some of the information on the profiles in their pages point towards a piece of software called "XRumer".

I think we need to investigate this account and probably stop it from posting.

Your powers of deduction are incredible Holmes:blink:

How did you get onto this 1?

Liberator

Well, dull name which looks a little corporate.

Google shows loads of forum profiles and this one in particular puts his interests as "XRumer marketing"

Analentry my fine Mr Blunt.

Possibly a test run, but it does mean our forum is open to other users of this software.

Blunt

I got as far as "               Gender Not Set"
Clearly Suspicious.

I can go to bed now safe in the knowledge that Lib never sleeps, looks at all parts of the forum all the time and keeps his tobacco in the toe end of a Persian slipper:D

QuoteXRumer is a Windows program that posts forum spam with the aim of boosting search engine rankings. It has been claimed that the program is able to bypass techniques commonly used by many websites to deter automated spam, such as account registration, CAPTCHAs, and e-mail activation before posting. The program makes heavy use of a database of known open proxies in an attempt to make it more difficult for administrators to block posts.
