l4d banned why?

Hi I just saw I got banned on l4d, I've played once on the server, And someone told me I was onley banned on css, I know I've been wrong on cs:s and I'm sorry for that. But I would love to become a member on l4d, And that maybe the past could be forgotten on l4d,  and I could start over again on l4d. So could I get a unban on l4d, I did nothing wrong there (A)

In my opinion, if you are not showing the right community attitude in one game, what's to say you will in the other games? So I could understand a global ban. However, I don't know anything about the situation here, maybe it is accidental.

Its been like what, 8 months since the cs:s ban, maybe he really feels sorry ( I mean, he obviously wants to get back to play with us again, else he'd gone to an other community). I don't know how severely bad his actions where back then, but maybe a trial on L4D isn't that bad of an idea?

I don't know what started this but if someone is a member of the forum they should be allowed to play on the servers. I'd suggest removing any ban and putting him on a watch list. Once someone is aware of why they were banned it serves on purpose.

If when on the watch list they play in such a way to be banned then the ban should extend across all games and the forum.

That's my opinion. Always give a second chance, but not a third.

I'm transferring this to L4D section for the Section Head to deal with, that's where it should be as it is a L4D server issue.

As for rights and membership.  Anyone who registers on this forum is a 'member' of the community and able to play on the servers.  You might have got yourself banned for something though and that may be why you need to approach the L4D section first to find out why.  Posting in Banter is not the right place to start imo.  Maybe the Steamban list excludes you from all Steam games.  Another good reason why you should always follow the server rules.
