and for some reason imps have the armor of the lich king himself because they get 10 times less damage as me

I guess the reason is that pets have inherent 90% AoE damage reduction (so they dont die by being hit by 10 Big ooze explosions or by standing in fire/slime/smoke/ice/whatever)
