Tonight we had a great run in Ulduar and after that, we had a very nice run in VoA (both 25 and 10). Now the suggestion is: why not to make a stable (more or less, depending on the WG ownership during raid times) raid to VoA? As we had the chance to see, the run is very simple and if the raid is already filled, it will take no more than 1h (much less, but still) for both 25 and 10 (2 groups of 10, of course) men. I know that until now VoA hasn't been under the guild raid rules, but i find it a very nice and easy way to gear up in t8.5.

It would be nice to make it a steady run, the problem is that many people lock themselves to VoA as it is so PUGable.  The second boss there now makes a PUG slightly less attractivce, but it relies on members accepting it as a guild raid, not a non-DKP pug route to T8.5.  In the past iirc the feeling has been that members prefer to pug it and not spend DKP.

The other issue has always been that unless you use valuable 25 person raid time on VOA at the start of the week then you run the risk of deferring it until Tuesday, the raid being cancelled due to poor attendance and then everyone misses out on VOA as it is not run at all that reset.

It's not impossible, but it is tricky to keep everyone happy.

We don't use dkp though, so the only difference would be guildies versus PuG.

I would recommend going through with this as it is indeed easy loot. We can do this on thursdays, and even fill up with PuGs + friends as we saw last night. As long as there's a solid DMR core available, dpsing down the adds is no problem. The only risk is that loot goes to non-guildies. But as we saw last night, we garnered quite a bit of respect from those PuGs as well, which in the long term might help recruitment.

And all that in <1 hour. :)

That is an excellent point.

I was thinking that if the guild will make it official, and set the VoA raid in a early day of the wow week (from wed to sat, i think), it will give people the time to join a pug, if they will not be able to attend or miss the run in any case.
