Now my TrackIR has gone on the blink. Well, not blink actually. Dead as a dodo! :) It's only being cheerful that keeps me going. :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao: Ahem. Sorry, I'll see myself out. :sad:

Odd, my trackIr took a freak attack last night couldn't get it working for ages.  seems ok now though.  But yours is dead for sure? :sad:

There could be a faulty connection on the clip (or cap). Try using a normal webcam and see if that detects any light from it! (webcams are also very sensitive to infrared light, even with the filter still in place) If it does, that means it must be the camera thingy that's no longer working.

On the bright side, if the whole thing has gone bye-bye, this is a good excuse to go get the newest version (TiR 5) :)

Lol so has mine :) If I re-seat the USB-plug after booting it works again though :g:

I'm fairly certain it's bitten the dust. I can't see what 5 does better than 4 so I'm bidding for a 4 on eBay

5 has better resolution and thus more precise. I agree though, the 4 does what is needed and 5 seems to be made just to keep selling.

FWIW - have you tried contacting them? They have quite good support and respond in a day or so.

I have contacted them (Saturday) but no response yet given that it's only Monday.
To be fair I've had it since TIR4 first came out and that was because I had trouble with a 3 which I'd had for over a year and they replaced it with a 4 foc. (and... breathe)
So philosophic mode kicks in. :)

Some good news and some bad news on the router front.
First the good news. It's arrived, up and running. Finnglish is back up! :)
The bad news is I can't join it. :doh:
I don't see it in the lobby but I do see it when I enter the IP. (New one incidentally. 94.168.127.118 ) It shows all the correct info but when I try to join it time outs. I can join it on the LAN, I can join other servers from the lobby! Where's me noose? :ranting2:
