Yes, its been excellent racing:D

4th in quali,started poorly and spun out on T2, discoed,better restart and then discoed again :crying: JUst lost the will to go on.

I was robbed.

Qualified pole with a PB. Then did a better one just to make sure  That may sound good but there were a few people missing, Venca and Seany could have spoilt my fun.

Started the race and began to run away into the distance until someone let off a lag bomb knocking out half the field :ranting2:

Managed to re-connect for the re-start, got penalised and started from the back.  Race started and I made up a few places, chasing Cueball for the first half, pitted, had some clean air for a few laps until Mille exited the pits in front of me.  Put him under enormous pressure for what seemed like 1000 laps! but just couldn't find a gap big enough to pass.  :taz:  eventually he was wrong footed (or wheeld?) trying to pass Oldbloke and I dived up the inside on the last corner.  Oldbloke must have been tired by now and made some mistakes, letting me steal 3rd.  Three laps to go and Slider46 and Evan were too far ahead to catch, so 3rd it was.

The most intense race I've had for a while, excellent stuff.  Congratulations to Evan and bad luck to the disco's.

I've been robbed by Ario,  but the discos gave it all back...

Qualified 5th, managed an unplanned drift on race fuel before the start and Ario spectated be for bad driving AND gave me the last spot on the grid :taz:

I made a good start and passed 5-6 cars.
Then Ario did a Red flag - restart, so I had hope. It proved false, still last on the grid :taz::taz:

Not so good start, then the discos hit hard.

Restart, this time 4th - ahead of much faster drivers!
This proved very interesting, as this combo was an excellent one for defending. I spent decades trying to keep Deeslider behind and getting past Oldie, exciting and fun. Then Deeslider passed me while I was attempting a pass on Oldie who had slowed down a bit.

After that Cueball was in my mirrors and exhaust, also clearly faster than me.
It tried a saving drift through T1 after a (too) late braking, but the lack of power of the XRG showed and my speed plummeted mid turn. Cueball hit me and I spinned into the wall.
He sportsmanly waited for me to recover :clap: and we carried on fighting until the end.

Very close racing, unlucky discos reduced the grid too much but that's life.
Quali times were also very close, first 10 on the grid in approx 1 second out of 1:44

Hmmm, robbed and robber here.
i was quite surprised to quali 3rd but then i was more supprised that i never actualy got a 1.43 over the whole week. The first split showed it was possible more often than not, but i couldnt convert it at all. TB was a 43.12:g:

A few laps in and i was happy in third as Cueball had dropped back a little (probably due to all that extra green paint on his front bumper:D) and Rooster was looking a touch more ragged than i usualy am. Dee was away so all i had to do was keep her steady for a possible 2nd or 3rd.

After the lag bomb, i was about 92nd on the grid, or it seemed so after my best ever quali ten min's beforehand. Robbed:sideways:.
About lap 5 i pitted as i was just following and couldnt make headway. maybe that was abit unethical in hindsight, ie, the robber. Sorry chaps.
Still, im taking the points as i probably wont get another 2nd:narnar:

Well done Evan, especialy for putting in two pb's when i was gaining on you at the end. Without those i reckon i'd have caught you. Good show.

Unlucky for those that disco'd twice. Bad luck chaps.
