I did wonder when you disappeared, I thought maybe you'd gone to change car but then you didn't return. I didn't get disco'd so maybe the issue was at your end this time? I don't think I've ever had a problem with the DMR server myself.
A shame we didn't get a race in though. Oh well I'll keep trying, especially in this weather, which isn't even nice enough to sit outside the pub in the height of summer :sad:

For some unfathomable reason you have to refresh the connections list a few times before it pops up. Weird. :g:

Hey Guys

Is your rFactor server still up? If so would it be possible to set it to one car only?
This way its close racing no matter who joins? Just a thought...would love to get some great Cortina action or Alfa racing going!!!!

I've just checked and we don't specify a port on the config or startup.

Anyone still racing rFactor here? Boogle and I are racing it quite often and would love some action packed races with you guys.

iRacing has stolen most of our team for the time being:) I'm sure its just until their money runs out and their wives divorce them. They will be back:norty:

I mostly just have a bash of it offline now and again. I check over at Ron's place to see if there any rFactor going on, but iRacing and Netkar are the sims of choice at the moment.

Where are you and Boogle racing?

Come on Todd, you know Finnglish is the place to look for rFactor action

Although they're having a bit of an iRacing resurgance there at the moment as well.

As it happens, though, I've been working on an rF project that I'm waiting to go "live" with. Website and forum are up and running, I just don't have the money to rent a gameserver yet :sad: I've got lots of great ideas for club races and - once I get a big enough community going - league races. I'm really anxious to get it started but I'm afraid it'll have to wait until my financial situation is looking a bit better. Unless I run into a kind soul who's feeling generous...

In the meantime I'm still having a blast with the HistorX mod offline, trying all the cars and finding odd and interesting combos for future use on my server once I get it

The weekly Caterham races over at RaceDepartment are an absolute joy as well, there's some magnificent racing to be had but I guess their hours aren't so Canadian-friendly.

Hi ,
i have been able to join the dMr HistoriX Server it has goldenport circuit on it .
Does this ever change and does it have to be cotpit view only .
I like to race various mods on rfactor with my buddies ,does dmr have any other rfactor servers at all .
I know dmr members race live for speed mostly and i plan to race that too ,but would be great to be able to have some other circuits to race on rfactor server .

Is it possible to load different mods onto the server ,be great to have a server which is running a mod and a good selection of circuits for a fixed time .
This would give time to learn and race ,then perhaps onto other mods and tracks for the next month .
Any info would be great as i would like to support the dMr HistoriX Server rather than go race on other servers .
