Login Problem - 21/8/09

Anyone else getting stuck at the login screen? I know some people currently online on Aszune and they are playing with no problems, but I cannot get past the 'Connected' page. I can connect to some (but not all) other realms though. I can get to my Ragnaros toons, but not my Emerald Dream - same issue.

Is Blizz sharing the hate or am I the lucky one?

I got the same prob TL..

And diff one.....WoW chrashed after in put in new gpu and cpu.

It even wont repair it anymore.
It says that i have too reinstall WoW compleet.
Do i lose then my Chars and will have too start all over again.?

nah the account remains, Blizzard won't delete the account chars anyway or the account

Run the repair tool on it in the WoW folder. See if tha thelps. If not just copy back the backup copy of the WoW folder you have on the spare HDD....

Hmm both wont help it seems.

So can i delete all files are start over again too install everything?

The official forum is crowded by posts of people experiencing the very same problem. I'm here with the same reason of frustration. It seems to be linked to the upload of non personal information thing, the login server have to validate it before granting you access, or at least that's what you get from the other users' posts.

My brother inlaw has been complaining to me that he can't login either.

Possibly something to do with blizzcon causing a peek?

Is it still a problem>

KK, if you have a backup of WOW, just copy that to where ever you like and run it form there.

If not, try logging in to your account @ http://www.wow-europe.com/en/index.xml (Account Management) and try reinstalling from there.

I had a similar issue when I first started playing, and ever since I make a backup anytime I change anything or an update is applied. This way all I have to do is copy files from A to B rather then having to download the whole lot again. Good Luck!
