Ok seems there's a lot coming in the new expansion and I won't list everything here (cause there's tonnes of other websites doing that for us anyway) but here's the trailer! Look at that awesome new water engine btw! My impression? They've really gone all out for this one and by the looks of it, in an acceptable lore-matching way too. The speculation and stuff had me worried but this looks great across the board!

yeah lvl 1-10 areas might become 55+, old dungeons are stocked with more dangerous beasts, deserts become rainforests (tanaris). and old fauna's destroyed by lava etc.

They even implant worgans, humans transformed in beast, rejoining humans WTH lol, they really are out of ideas not? Somewhere I have this feeling of SWEET, but mostly I have this feeling they are ruining it more and more.

I love the idea, really hope they make a good job of it and don't rush it trying to beat starwars out of the door.

Please... A) We're talking about Blizzard, they release when it's done. B) How many MMO's in the past were suspected to be a competitor to WoW but turned out to be a fluke, or at least have only a fraction of WoW's playerbase? Star Wars will be no different I predict.

You are probably right, Starwars galaxies was poopie, but Bioware is making this one, and they've made some very good games

Over 11 million players of 1 game alone, that's very hard to beat, even if SW as a franchise has such a big fanbase. Not all of those will play MMO games. I think it'll blow over much like the aforementioned SW: Galaxies. It didn't have too many players and WoW wasn't even around back then. Sure part of the WoW fanbase will probably try SW, but I predict most of them will be back shortly thereafter, like was the case with Warhammer, AoC, LotR:O, etc. etc.

i don't agree with you on this. I don't think people will come back. WoW is changing and for alot of people changing in a wrong way. WoW aint what it used to be. You can notice this on forums and aswell as ingame.

For my self i will go and play SW as soon as it comes out, i might play on WoW but i am really thinking of quiting wow when this new expansion is getting launched...

We will see what happens, you never know.

Indeed it is, some of the changes especially in WOTLK have made me angry, be it the way they make it extremely casual.... but from what i've seen in the trailer (i'd watch that ice

) it looks like its gonna be a great expansion and i for one am stoked about it already....

I know that people have seen the trailer and its making them think about coming back to WoW because of the changes to the 'vanilla' world
