Who are you? Where are you from? How old are you? What kind of work do you do? What's your situation at home like?

Im a 42 year old social worker from sweden, married to a beatiful women whos bearing our first child right now.


What kind of internet connection do you have?

Sadly im at a cell phone modem right now but that will change in the next couple of days when the fiber acess gets through, is it still called a t1 connection? Anyway 100/100 soon.


What are the core specs of your computer?

I got a fairly new setup with a intel dual core processor, gpu with 648 mb and 2Gb of ram.


How long have you been playing computer games and what kind?

I have been gaming since i first tried out the old arcade game space invaders, so over 30 years now i guess. Some of the games ive enjoyed in the past include the AoE series, Diablo 2, Unreal Tournament, CoD. Diablo is what made me want to play WoW, which i started around the time when the Island of Queldanas patch were released.

 
What kind of raiding experience do you have?

BC- cleared t5, and MH pre WoTLK

WoTLK-cleared naxx 10/25, VoA 10/25 incl Kolaron, ToC got up to Lord Jaraxxus, Os 10/25, just the very beginning of Ulduar.


What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?

I used to be in infinity but left since we really didnt do anything raid wise after the expansion hit, possibly due to it being an alt guild and most core players were on their mains in other guilds at that time. After leaving infinity i joined the EoR where im currently at.


Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in in case we need to contact you?

I have 3 other level 80 characters that i play rarely. If i get accepted and  its ok i will join them aswell however, as it simplifies things.

All my WoW gaming takes place on one server.


What are your plans for the game?

Have fun, socialise, raid, do achievments, continue to get better, improve my pvp-arena.


In what way would you like others to know you?

As a helpfull, reliable, humoristic and easy going person.



Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.

As far as personality i really hope the above answer describes me. What i first and foremost enjoy is the group aspect of the game.


Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state.

The invasion of immature players in, easy to get, good gear.

Why did you decide to play this class?

I started out as a warlock for no other reason then that it was the closest thing to the nekromancer in D2.


What do you think your class' role is in raid content?

Obviously, to do dps but also some raid utillity as provider of health/soul-stones and the replenishment spec i run is also useful. As crowd control isnt much of an issue anymore its rare for me to that but i dont mind it whether its chain fearing, banishing or seducing.

   
Comment on your build. Why did you choose it?

I play as destro since i enjoy the raw power and simplicity of it.


What do you think of other builds of your class?

Affli is nice and i ran as a affl lock my first few times in kara. Dotting just dont hold a candle to blasting im afraid.

Demo isnt as attractive to me as the managing of the pet is to importent.



What do you look for in a guild?

Camraderie.

You know the way you look at a pug when youre about to start a hc? Just glancing at the guild names and the comforting sensation you get when you see some of those names, DMR is one of  few guilds that provide that sensation.


There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us?

As most of EoR is applying to this guild i checked out youre forum and i was very pleased with what i found.


Who do you know in Dead Men Raiding? How do you know them?

Nobody?


Have you read our 'what we look for' and 'philosophy' posts? What do you think of them?

Yes. They seem very fine.



A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?

Depends on the situation, if in a raid i would ask him to clarify what he meant after the raid.
