24K is relatively good i hit around that in raids although it all depends what you gem for ie spell power / mana / regen etc.

Regarding your spec :- you missed the critical talents at the top end of the retri tree which boost our crit through the roof. Youve instead gone way deeper into prot than you need to.

Take a look at my spec here: http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-ta...ad+Men+Raiding its the general cookie cutter spec for holy some people vary it slightly but i felt this one works best for me.

Let me know how you get on.

Gonna chase it up with him and see how he gets on.

Your armory link is fubar :<

Instead, here is your spec :> http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-talents.xml?r=Aszune&cn=Evoxer&gn=Dead+Men+Raiding

Some comments on his build (even though I'm not healer):

I can understand the Divine Sacrifice choice, but it's a very situational talent and is probably better in the hands of a Protadin OT. I'd finalize Judgements of the Pure, 3% haste is nice (I've often found that my target dies in those last few miliseconds of the cast). 5/5 Divinity in Prot but that's it. In Retri 3/3 HotC, 2/2 Imp Might. 5/5 Conviction.

But that's pretty much your spec I guess :>

sheepy

old bump here but i have good reason.

I have not been around much but i have looked at a few logs, i do not profess to understanding pally healing that much, but from what I know holy light and flash of light are the main spells, please correct me if im worng.

and ive noticed a HUGE gulf between bal and any other healing pally.

for example tonights logs show a total of 167 casts between flash and holy light from tirk and a total of and just 67 casts combined from bal, on the sucessfull anubrekan fight, this CANNOT just be a gear diffrence or movement diffrence, seeing as in Hal as tank healed nearly as much in EHPS (effective healing per sec). *edit* Did he just die at the start or is the comment below worth looing at as presence is still 99% on the fight

is there some work we need to do with him??? he was a resonably good hunter but from what ive seen a shockingly bad healer.

Sheepy appears and begins to stroke my head. According to his slurred drunken speech I am "lovely and like a fuzzy felt". Thankfully he soon leaves and passes out somewhere. [/quote]

Holy Light, Glyph of HL, Beacon of Light, Flash of Light and Holy Shock are the typical things I'd expect to see in a holy paladin log.  But 67 casts v 167 is nothing to do with spell choice, it's simple lack of healing (assuming he was indeed a live the entire fight).

What's his UI like for healing?  Might be worth asking him to post a picture from mid-raid so you can review how he does things.

We did a 10 man uld the other week and his healing was fine ... We did ask him this raid to shadow Deminion which he did. I think he is waiting for people to need heals rarther than blasting out.. just looked at the logs and 40 -50% of his heals were on the target we asked him to take care of so dunno :g:
