Im finding it funny .. I would have said no tho he still has a toon with us and we just know when we are short, we will use him... current lack of healers and all that

Yeh dont know where he has got that from ... tho he will not get invites as he has a social rank ... if a spot is begging he can come tho prio will be the sign ups

Silly question, but what happened to his DKP?  Does it get zero'd as he left the guild and is no longer a raider?

I've not really thought about that but yeah, a reset would be best. That'll hopefully discourage any other people from doing the same.

Aye, we had a reset policy for people too.  It encourages loyalty and people have one more thing to think about before doing a frustrated gquit.

So Jim's gunna raid or not ?  I dont want him as a healer and he dont want to heal. I think Mal would like him as shadow ... Anyway what ever we decide Lumi has stepped in after he left and took the disc healer spot. Lets not mess him around :D

Agreed jas, lets not mess him around we all know he came back to raid so he either is or isnt.
I spoke to him when he first came back and explained that Luna had regemmed/respecced and learnt a new playstyle to cover the gap Jim left, and so he was okay with all that and said that he wanted to go shadow (it had been mentioned b4 he left as well)
To be honest Jim is Jim we all are aware of that, the instances of him ****ing ppl off have been alot better recently and i think lets not look at last chance etc he is a good raider and while that is true i would like him in.
His Shadow priest abilities are excellent and his gear is more than upto the job.
So ranged dps? for me yes (better the devil you know! )
you want competition for spots ? , well his gear/dps is a benchmark like HIM or not.

Looking at the dps Jim can do and the fact that he really does want to go shadow, I'd say we let him and we recruit a few more healers in.

I'm happy swapping to Sky if needed and we have enough tanks, but some dedicated healers that are online all the time would be perfect.

It's your shout as to what you do with him, but imo he needs a very firm hand on him.  He is already acting like he owns the place again as far as I could tell from last night.  One thing I would like to see stop (whether I am in the DMR raid or the same zone in another raid) is his  constant spam in Zone channel during raids, he seems to think it is his own private chat channel and it irritates the heck out of a number of people both in DMR and elsewhere.

As for dps, given his gear level it is not that good, so I'm afraid it's more an endictment of the fact that the rest of the dps needs to pick it up some and be more competitive.  Ugro made a comment in Eluo guild chat when you killed the 1st boss last night that the dps was very poor, I think it took 7 whirlwinds before the boss kill?  This is something CLs *really* need to work on as it kills the raid to not be able to keep up with trash spawns or enrage timers.  More dps has to be pumped out, period.

He got my back up last night with constant spam ... And it turns dmr's name to crap too ... I have realy had it with him ... the problem is im gunna realy upset him very soon and one or the other of us will be walking thats how much hes winding me up at the mo with various snipes and comments

Well that settles it then. No more raiding for Jim. Even if we have to call a raid due to no healers.
