Nade spamming

I don't know about you, but I find it difficult to tell whether it's spamming or tactical play.
In my book it's ok to nade an area to clean it or keep the enemy back, in order to move in,  even if you don't know if there is anyone there.
However, the habitual throwing of nades from spawn or shortly after spawning is a real pain.
I think the most we can do is keep up the warnings and console messages.

problem is I dont think people are using it in a tactical fashion, but only for frag kills, and I'm not sure saying 'UAV' is a good excuse to throw 3 nades in different directions, shame, but this is a run and gun server which is not a bad thing, just not as tactical as we would of hoped it would be :sad:

If you see red dots on a uav and you can hit them with  nades. then I don't see a problem. Maps like wet work nade spamming can be a problem. but most of the time I don't see an issue.

A map that always starts with a good nadeing is Ambush. Is it spamming when people throw nades across the road? I think of it much like the double doors on Aztec. a valid tactic.

I agree Armi, as an enemy it is up to you to know where the nade spam spots are and avoid them.
however, it is spamming in the strictest sense of the word.

In the case of ambush. get too the road first or delay your run and clear the bomb site with nades 5/10 seconds later.

Which I think is tactical.

Wet work. warn people as it can get silly and if it carries on kick a few people.
