Are you running XP? Because I had a bellyfull of that kind of thing. I found that if you installed any difficult programmes in safe mode, all the woes went away. Just a thought.

Ya i got XP and it dont work on my other PC (Inet Server) the same prob so im doing th same thing wrong any suggestions???

Just a thought but there's many Java based irc clients that dont need the likes of mIRC to access the quakenet servers.  Try searching on google for "quakenet java based irc"  i found a good few, but i'm unable to test em because XP wont download Microsft virtual machine for Xp, and there's no way i'm upgrading to service pack 1.  Not with my "legally dubious" copy of XP.   :oops:
