Spring LAN party

Hi

I'm just wondering how many of you racers will come to the spring LAN meeting? I have for quite a many years dreamed of going to Sheffield to watch Snooker World Championships and next spring, thanks to Lameduck , they run the event at the same time as the dMr LAN happening so I'm planning to be there at both events if the accident will.

Have you had good racing sessions at LAN's or has it been mostly a social event? Or are you playing mostly non-racing games? I think I could bring my laptop with me, and the wheel and pedals travel easily in the airplane, so I think I'll be there well equipped, if I finally get there.

It would be nice to get a few more racers there, it was a bit sparse this last LAN, but we still had some fun.  Delank can tell you all about it and describe the view of my rear bumper as I stole victory from him in the competition race!

(me and crazyR1 used to go every year)

All supported games get a lan Competition and Lfs is no exception.
so lots of css, cod4, l4d and lots more.
we normally get at least 5-6 racers at the Lan, as TL said the last lan
was quiet ( only 4 racers) but we still did a lan race, which TL won :worship: (i must get round to posting the replay)

sounds plenty good enough and if theres anything else that you havent
space to bring just ask as i'm sure we will be able to bring some extra bits and bobs

If the gods allow me, I intend to be there and if they don't allow me, then sod-em I'm still going. Can't miss two LANs.
Trying to persuade a few more to attend. CrazyR1 will have been married for 6+ months by then, so he's bound to come and I feel Sean is plucking up courage to cross the Oggin. Ben might not attend if I offer him a lift again (once bitten.....). Slider 46 has no excuse not to, as he's just down the road.
Don't know about Deetzie, I ain't clapped eyes on him since the Cumbrian floods started. Hope he's OK. Spudgun is a cert, now he's been re-computerised. :sideways:

Just down the road? Its a good couple of hours in a 16 year old hilux:. I almost break a rib with every pothole so i dont think i have enough to make it that far:roflmao:. I thought about riding out to the last one for the saturday night beer and to say hello (in that order:D) but the weather turned nasty.
Seriously, i would like to go but its a case of see nearer the time. Provisionaly, yes.
Go on Romus, you know you want to. You'll have to stay somewhere when your over here so it might as well be the lan:D

I've just purchased a G25 wheel, pedals etc so I will definately be bringing these to the spring LAN.  Count me in boys...

I'd love to see the replay, if only to see the vapour trail of sweat from my brow and the brownish skid marks I was leaving behind as I frantically tried to both control the car and remain ahead of you! :roflmao:
