I watched the first episode of this today and whilst admitting I was totally sceptical and expecting the worst due to being a huge fan of the original i have to say I was pleasantly surprised.

Now from watching one episode I can see that this version will take its own path while staying true to the original overall plot it looks as if its being well done with good effects although does feel alittle Hollywood with every character looking a million dollers and ripped up hunks with fights skillz.

I think fans of the original will lean towards the ramshakle bunch of misfits that formed the original rebellion and Marc Singers leading role will take alot of beating.

But, so far so good for this.

Yeah it was quite scary, I was also quite young I really need the ol' ones on DVD
