Another friend of Hasan, trinkets, offhand and a ring are undergeared but can be fixed with vendor gear.

He's clearly done *some* theory crafting from his chosen gear & gems and he has chosen his trinkets well for that level.  Given Arcane's burst damage potential I'd give him a go.  The gear will upgrade quite rapidly as he gets hit in his armor allowing other slots to go back to damage.

i say give him a trial. seen him in action once now in guidl raid. His DPS was to low but he said he was having lag issues (as where more players at the time so..).
 
And as you might have noticed i havent been attending all raids as i was this summer seeing im in conflict with my planner at work. i was able to switch all my 'evening shifts' (16:00-0:00) to night shifts (0:00 - 9:00) mainly cos off vacation from colleague's, but that time is past and alot of shifts have been canceled (crisis hits us all) maining we have more imploye's then work atm. this means i wont be able to join as many raids as i used to, and with that in mind an xtra mage is always welcome .
