Tanks!

I had a chat with Toby a few nights ago and thought about trying to run a mission, maybe Barnyard with a tank and crew if we have enough players on one night. The idea would be to crew a tank but to have enough infantry support (and anti air) that we could keep the damn thing on it's feet long enough to make it useful. We always seem to loose our tanks quite fast and I'm wondering if we could add a slant to the mission by making it priority to keep the tank safe as we move through the mission. I'm not actually sure how that would work. Maybe using a sniper or two in advance to spot anti tank enemies and then several infantry to work in support with at least one Anti Air guy might work. The only thing is we would need a healthy number of people. Two in the tank, a sniper and three infantry would be minimum? Another take on the idea might be to use an Apache and work to keep that airborne. I believe it's all about hiding behind hills and terrain and just popping it up to take down armour as needed, keep it out of the way until we spot tanks etc and then use it to hit them from range and quickly hide again.

I'm sure we will fail completely but it might be a laugh to try.

This sounds great alas I will not be able to make it as the Valentines day and no amount of Armoured Tank division we save me if I suggest me playing games :)

Will be getting hot, sweaty and muddy in the local woods.
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.
