The official nights are Sun and Tues, but usually some kicking around on the other nights.  

Your bro is more than welcome just get him to sign up to the forums and he can get all the server info from there.

Friday is becoming an unofficial ArmA 2 night. As a community we try to promote a different game on a different night, so for example we don't have an official ArmA night on the same day as an official CoD:BO night (Monday) or Racing (Thursday). World of Warcraft is different as they're all addicts and play 24/7 :)

Friday is officially Battlefield BC2 night and so we don't try to compete with them or try to get BC2 players to defect to us on a Friday. However obviously some of the community don't play both games and so for those players there is no conflict. If you don't play BC2 on a Friday and if there's no action down the pub you'll probably find something ArmA-ish going on.

Also tonight sometimes gets a game as well. I'll probably be practising chopper landings at some point so come watch the my awesome skills and certain horrible death in a pile of burning twisted helicopter wreckage.

Also it would be great to hear more of your thoughts and opinions. A fresh pair of eyes looking at how we play, what maps we try etc is really useful. So don't feel you cannot comment, the worst we'll do is point and laugh and make you ArmA avatar wear a silly hat.... :norty:

OK, cheers Smilo :)

 Actually, Chopper training sounds like a very good idea.  I'm a long time flight simmer but I've never felt the urge to fly in ArmA for some reason.  I really should though, so ill whip out the joystick and get a bit of offline practice in to pick up the basics and join you for some training sometime.  You can never have enough qualified pilots right?  :D

  Don't think I'll be able to make tonight though as I have an England club race in iRacing (Sim Racing is my main hobby)

Hopefully there will be a few around tomorrow evening for a bit of action anyway.  I'll be lurking on the server from 7.30ish

Been practising for an hour or so and I'm pretty happy with my flying.  I'm used to more complex choppers and physics so it wasn't much of a problem.

..flying them under combat conditions though is a whole different matter :D

Lets see how cocky I am with bullets and missiles headed at me :doh: :roflmao:

I'll pop on the training server after my race tonight if anyone's still about.  If not I'll join you for next Thursdays pilot training.

I thought tonight we could try a map I've made called 'Happy Hiking' There are no enemies and we can just go for a nice walk and explore the beautiful countryside and meet interesting local people and learn their culture and customs. What do you think?

enjoyed tonight guys, sorry for planting the chinook into the soil :sad: although it looked like i had alot of altitude to get rid of, are you sure we wern't shot to smithers before we hit the deck ? :g:

I cant connect to the server now for some reason...it just says connection failed, have tried inputting the ip manually but still wont connect still, i will try again tomorrow and see what happens
