With the greatest respect, if Limps really is that pushed for time that he shirks any kind of responsibility for performance management at the first sign of it being suggested, then he should not be a CL.

Any CL that read that post and replied 'sorry I do not have the time' should be shot at dawn because it is precisely what a CL should be doing.  What else does he think they do? Pplease don't reply with 'he sort things in-game/raid' as we all know that doesn't happen either.  CLs *have* to have the odd minute here and there and be able to spot the 'bleedin obvious' without having to spend hours in the logs.

All the time it took me to find out something was wrong was the time it took the webpage to load.  White bar at top was loads bigger than white bar at bottom.  Conclusion reached.  I then loaded two more web pages to satisfy myself that something was defintely wrong.  At that point he could then pass the problem to the member to identify, research and report back on, or another CL to handle, all of this would take him less than 30 seconds to handle.  'Just saying No' is not what a CL should be doing and its pointless having people around who really believe they are that pushed for time that they live in the can't-be-bothered zone.
