Its social for me ..  Tho we can support 3 raids a week and should try to push them as hard as we can. You could be the best player in the world tho if its not fun whats the point. Can we do both be social and raid well... I would like to think we could ...

Ame raised some good points but im thinking its more looking for excuses to the fact shes been busy and and just needs to gear up. Stepping down to social is the correct move same as saori... We dont have any competion for spots tbh if people hit the bar which is not that high we have a spot almost 100% of the time ...

I have to agree a bit with jas here, eventhough I'm only alot in the evenings I don't think I could do 5hours of raid 6-7 times a week but I prefer the 3 hours, 3 days a week and the rest of the week I pref doign 5 or 10mans with the people I consider my friends and other people (you can't like everyone eventhough you try)

I think dmr is a social guild with people that want to raid in it.

Since October when i had my back op we have

1) lost our MT (garrit)
2) lost 2nd MT (gandy)
3) lost our GM (gandy)
4) lost an excellent healer in Mezz
5) lost an excellent dps in Pilus

It has taken until now just to get some replacements in as nearly all of this happened over xmas with holidays etc.

the message that needs to go out to the troops is along these lines.

We've lost a few people at first it was healers but look who we got in to replace them, boony pandi then it was tanks again we have just replaced with different classes to try and expand our options (for 10 and 25 !).
 we are now looking at dps requirements and will fill up on them as well (boony has recommended a warlock and is working on a decent mage for us as well) to cover for current abscence and also known upcoming ones (will lose dillinja for a bit when his baby comes in march)

There is the raiding team ! DON'T PANIC !!!

With regards to Ame i think its just a bit of a poke from her side and agree with jas its a decision that is probably the best for everyone.

I have had a think about things and would like to carry on as part of the officer team with you guys, as things are not that bad at all in my mind, a post like Ames just brings out lots of niggles and stuff buts thats all it is, minor issues.

We will get by the normal dmr way i guess we still got ppl needing gear from toc 25 normal for gods sakes so realistically we are not going to pwn icc 25 any time soon but as long as we keep hitting it and raiding then we'll get there real soon now.

With regard to Gandys stepping down as RL just wanna say many thanks for all of the work you put in dude was a pleasure working with ya and all the best for you and yours.

I think GM wise JAS would be a very popular choice amongst both officers and members and possibly exactly whats need at the moment to steady a supposidly rapidly sinking ship (cant see it myself :doh:)  at least it shows ppl we are on it and working to keep going strong as opposed to imminantly folding.

maybe a quick 10-15mins on ts tonite for a quick officer chat and a sort out - delay the raid by 10-15 if needed  (if you'll have me back that is :crying: )

I addition to the above.

I think a clear list of what needs doing and when, would be a good idea
ie: stuff like xsa for recruitment et al and lets see who has time to help on what, i have a lunch hour most days and can do stuff to help then if its a recruitment update or a progress bump its just knowing what and where !

raiding stuff in general is kool and the gang esp with regards to class leaders limpsy and moz got ranged covered spot on and same is true of jas and pandi for healers  and melee as well.
Was an immense help just waiting for a go from them and then raidleader knows its all good to go.

a suggestion for new bosses might be for us to use ts a bit more and have  a CL and officer channel where we can drag them to to go over tacs for the classes before we start the raid, so when the time comes they can quickly runover stuff with whos doing what.

lastly for now is lets make more use of ts for weekly/whenever catchups maybe here is where we can look at poor performance/new people etc etc go over logs (if we're stuck)

definatly last :doh: lets get whitey upto an officer we need some more help and hes a winner in my book.

Gandy last time I looked dmr were 37 in the azune hall of fame ... splitting that between ali and hoard makes us 18ish which is a fantastic result and you got us there... Huge pat on the back and it will be tough for anyone to follow. :thumbsup2:

And yes whitey .... maybe also Tan as CL
