What do we do?

It's our job to come up with the words that slot into our new forum design.

-we write new text for new or re-designed web-pages
-we re-write existing pages
-we post draft text to this section
-we proof read submited text
-Game Admins feed back on anything in their section
-the 'editors' will give final sign off and then transfer to the new website

Protocol
When uploading any new text please title the thread with a reference to the webpage it comes from and prefix it with "DRAFT:".  E.g. if I were submitting a new 'Our Philosophy' page for the Wow section I would title the thread:

DRAFT: World of Warcraft>Our Philosophy

This flags it as needing prood reading so anyone else can spellcheck & grammar test it or suggest amendments.

If you amend anything you should place changed text in BLUE so it is easily identifiable and we can then accept/rekject changes as we go through before reaching a final APPROVED status.

Creativity
As we go through this process I would love to see some creative ideas about content we could have but don't yet, have but should not have, etc.  No idea is a bad one, so please suggest it for consideration!

Warranty
In 1963 the The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy had a one-word entry for the planet Earth and it read:  "Harmless".  Ford Prefect then spent 15 years updating the entry for Earth and submitting his work to his Editor.  Due to 'space on the page' constraints the Editor had to reduce the word count of his submission just a little, so by 1978 the entry read "Mostly Harmless".  So much for 15 years of work.

The point being, that not all we do will be used in totality as we might run out of space for the design we use, or we might need a different angle on something etc.  So, in advance, please do not take offence if the Editors do not use something you wrote, or worse still we cut/change what you wrote 'just a little'.  We're all working for the same goal here!
