What happens when you send out a friend request? Where does it go and how is the recipient meant to get notification?

I keep sending them and unless no bugger likes me and they're ignoring it they're disappearing into the ether.

If you look at the thread posted by Magnus on known problems you'll see that "Friends" is a recognized problem. I'm totally disappointed that something so fundamental doesn't work out of the starting blocks but at least they know it and are working on it..

My "friends" list has actually stayed for a week or so now. What I've found is that it works best when both of you are in the main menu and it appears automatically.

As for the Server Favourites, it's a bit crap that they don't have that sorted yet tbh.

i cant add servers by the full server list, but ive found a little work around.

join the server you want to add to your favorits, then leave again, then go to the server history tab and add it from there, always works for me.

Hi all.

Not been on in a while. My in game name is 'Outland' for BC2. Cant find the dMw server details though. Also, anyone know if its possible to connect to an IP address in BC2?

Having a few issues setting up multiplayer though. I can add friends and people can send me requests, but the requests aren't showing up for either person. Any ideas?

I also keep getting a white screen/semi crash type thing, comes back after a while but is probably my computer more than anything.

I have problems with alt/tabbing. it takes ages to get back in (white screen)
also, at the start of most rounds my screen is black. Players tags and bomb sites are visible though. I get my picture back by alt/tabbing out then clicking on the game in toolbar, it usually works after a few attemps, but sometimes I have to restart the game.
And that is on top of the PB kicks for heartbeats stopped:sideways:
I am also having to wait ages after my 10 secs to respawn.
