dMw BC2 - Ranked Server Details

Our BC2 server is up and running and the details are as follows:

Admin:
Admin details and other such stuff are being sorted, so be patient over the next couple of days so we can get things in order.
 
Tag:
Anyone with a current gaming section badge must use dMw. as their tag in BFBC2 - i.e. dMw. for existing badge members.
Anyone without a current gaming section badge must not wear any form of dMw tag.

Good news.  It is not showing up in gametracker yet.  Hopefully will be on a noce powerfull box there are 6 other servers on that IP at the moment.  Multiplay are normally very good so I am sure they know what they are doing.

Hmm, server keeps kicking me, is it patched up to date.

The game installed patches after startup and allowed me to connect to one MultiPlay server, but dMw and another just kicked without any reason.

Also hangs when trying to add it to favourites.

Although the server info shows no 'ping' either.

Same here, I managed to join there earlier but now even that doesn't work. Also the adding favorites just hangs.

I can connect to servers showing a ping, but -=[dMw]=- doesn't show a ping.

The game detected and installed patches upon first startup, so it may be a patch level issue.

Normally MP patch server automatically unless requested not to.  Weird one.  From the official forums it does seems some steam games are having issues with pings showing so it may effect other versions.  

Try opening these ports and see if it helps

The server seems to have been up since this morning without any downtime.  Let's hope this is just a 'glitch' in the game code that will be sorted asap.

It must be to do with the "Connections problems" advertised on the news ticker that runs along the bottom of the main screen.

I just got onto our server to find another 11 peeps on there running around, so it looks like "Teething troubles".

I can now add it into 'favourites' and it's showing a ping.

That's good news.  They are meant to be releasing a server patch to all GSP very soon if not already done.  What is the ping and performance like?

Ping for me is 10ms and at idle it uses about 10% CPU.  Not followed load yet when the server has all 16 slots filled, but it seemed fine with 14 on for most of this afternoon.  But then my internet connection terminates about 6 yards from the Multiplay server racks

16 slots I thought the server was a 32 man server?  The game plays much better with a full server.
