Where are you from? I live in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. To guys from UK it is probably know as the good place to go to get drunk and have some sex with lovely girls during weekends :narnar:

How old are you? I am 31 years old.

What kind of work do you do? I am a software engineer at Monster (recruitment)

What's your situation at home like? My wife reins with a whip that cracks hard, loud and painfully. Then there is my 17 months old son with his share of needs. Needless to say, I love both.

What kind of internet connection do you have? Broadband (I guess now it is 10Mbit/s).

What are the core specs of your computer? QUAD core!!!:rolleyes:  Well, I have Win7, Intel core 2 Quad  2.88GHz CPU, 4GB RAM, 1.5GB graphics card, 24" monitor, HDD large enough to be able to fraps whole raiding night.

How long have you been playing computer ames and what kind? I guess my first PC found its way to my desk in 1992. I liked games ever since. Mostly sports, sport managers, simulators (military jets), strategies, adventures.  I never really liked arcades, first person shooters and stuff like that.

What kind of raiding experience do you have? I started playing wow in May 08 and leveled slowly and I hit 70 at the time of zombie invasion world event. So I didnt raid as lvl 70. I started raiding on January-February last year and was pugging my way through every raid that was there in tier 7. I didnt do much of Ulduar at the time when it was THE content, just a couple of weeks in its 10 man version. My serious business in raiding begun in ToC.
Naxx 10/25: Cleared/cleared
Uld 10/25: not killed Algalon and Yogg/ not killed Algalon, Yogg-Saron, Mimiron, Freya
ToC 10/25: cleared/cleared
ToGC 10/25: killed first 3 bosses/didnt kill anything
ICC 10/25:  killed all except for Sindy and Arthas / cleared Lower spire

What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on? I joined Horn of the Unicorn as my first guild. It was a social guild but couple of us were really into raiding so we created a sister raiding guild, Raiders of the Lost Horn. This didnt last long at all, most of us moved over to The Management. Once TM stopped doing 25 man content, only the original member were getting invitations to 10 mans so I followed my friends again, this time to Ovo. And I just read today on our web site we disbanded...

Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in in case we need to contact you? I actively play two characters (Deepfriedegg and Dogfartenemy) and a banker.

If you are a cross-server applicant, name someone from your home server that can vouch for you.

What are your plans for the game? Kill the Lich King. As easy as that. And I would also like to got some of Ulduar harmodes. I love that raid so much.

In what way would you like others to know you? As a hunter who knows the class very well and who knows not only how to shower Koralon with 10K DPS but also the one who is able and willing to do more delicate tasks such as laying traps, kiting, add duty, tanking blood princes, shooting orbs down, keeping orbs up and stuff And perhaps not all hunter like the fact that I keep on pointing at what they should do better (gear selection, talents, gems, glyphs, whatever)

Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game. I knew it was ciming... You want yet another "I am easy going, funny guy"? I like this game, because I am zero in real life and in WoW I can have five different pets that will HAVE to obey me, unlike my wife.

Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state. Part of community is too much spoiled. And after doing some old world epic quests I just realized that back in Vanilla it took a bit more affort to get better gear. But this is common QQ. I actually like how the game is balanced, yet not too much homogenized. What I dont like is still too grindy feel. I would rather do random dungen once a week for 10 emblems than 7 times a week for 14 emblems, if you know what I mean.

Why did you decide to play this class?
Because I liked to shoot arrows. I learned on lvl 75 that night elves can also use guns

What do you think your class' role is in raid content?
I guess I have already answered a part of that earlier  but hey, here you have it again:
As a ranged class, hunters are great for adds. For any type of adds to be precise. We are good for kiting (Concussive Shot, Frost trap, Disengage, jump shotting. One of our greatest abilities is Misdirect. Distracting shot and Tranquilizing shots are highly situational but they might be handy  We dont offer many raid buffs - 130 Nature resistance and depending on spec either 10%AP or Replenishment

Comment on your build. Why did you choose it? What do you think of other builds of your class? Why didn't you choose one of those? (important question)

I have chosen MM as my primary spec because with my gear it is the top DPS  spec. However, I would like to point out some things from my spec:
1) Because I have ArP high enough, I am not specced into Improve Arcane Shot and I dont use that shot in my regular rotation. It is doing more damage that Steady Shot itself but thanks to Piercing Shots talent, damage from crits of Steady shot is increased by 30% (at least, depending on raid buff and target debuffs) whuile Arcane crits are not affected by this
2) I am not specced into Improved HunterÃ,´s Mark. This is flat 50/100/150AP buff and doesnt scale with gear at all.
3) Point in Focused Aim because I pursue ArP gear which usually dont have Hit on them
4) I still need one or two pieces of armor to gem fully for ArP. Like that I can be at 1200 ArP level (close to 90% armor reduction)

What do I think about other specs? I actually still use SV which is a good spec for fights where lots of Lock and Load procs can be forced (by using traps). That means I use it on Saurfang and Valithria. It might also be usefull on Deathwhisper but I stick with MM on that fight. When tanking Keleseth, I still use MM (with some stamina and shadow resistance gear).
Despite latest buffs to BM, I still dont consider this spec to be good enough to be my offspec

Why I didnt choose one of those: Well, I didnt pick BM because it is still  not good enough for raiding. I didnt choose SV as mainspec because MM is better on most fights.

This guild

What do you look for in a guild? I look for a raiding guild, whose members realize that there are more important things than WoW, and which is not a home of excusing stupid acts with "ItÃ,´s only a game". You know, you might play football with your friends for fun but ask them how much fun they think it is if you keep on scoring own goals because "itÃ,´s only a game"

There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us? Because I suppose that the better part of Ovo is going to join your guild, too. They are the people I enjoy to play with. Hopefully there will be more of these in your guild.


Who do you know in Dead Men Raiding? How do you know them?
Apart from people from Ovo that will end up in DMR - I dont know anybody.

Have you read our 'what we look for' and 'philosophy' posts? What do you think of them? It surprised me how detailed these posts are. And I think I fit here. As a reference, ask Leemadin or Aldaren, the pet keeper.


Annoying questions

A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?
We had a loot drama over [ITEM]Deathbringer's Will[/ITEM] where I was accused by some other guys that I dont know what gear should I be equipping - which I found to be really offensive. In cases like this, I try to bring down rational arguments (like 'Yes, physical damage makes 65-70% of rogueÃ,´s damage. But it does 70-75% - and will be more - of mine'. Or 'No, trinket with 45 sec internal cooldown CANT share cooldown with one that has 105 sec internal cooldown so they CAN be used together')
