You

Who are you? Where are you from? How old are you? What kind of work do you do? What's your situation at home like?

Hi. My name is Phillip, and i'm 18 years old. Currently unemployed. Living at home with my parents.

What kind of internet connection do you have?

20 mb broadband.

What are the core specs of your computer?

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad  CPU   Q9550  @ 2.83GHz  2.83GHz

4GB Ram.

Windows 7 32-bit

How long have you been playing computer games and what kind?

All my life. Starting with the old Nintendo systems. Then moving on to the computer where i played some DOS games, such as Warcraft, Jazz Jackrabbit. Duke Nukem, and ofcourse Commander Keen. You name it. I eventually started playing Counter-Strike, and getting quite decent at it. I still play it from time to time. I also played Warcraft 3 for a long time, and it's custom maps. (DotA). I'm also a huge fan of fighting games. Such as Street Fighter, Fatal Fury. Blazblue, and so on. So to sum it all up. I play fps, rts, rpg, and fighting games.

What kind of raiding experience do you have?

Everything in Vanilla, except for AQ40 and Naxx. In TBC i didn't get to the high high end game. But i cleared Kara, and Gruul's lair and all those other small bosses. No Black Temple though, sadly. Even though i've a done a few runs in it as a level 80 now. In WoTLK i've done everything up til the last boss in Ulduar 10-man. And up to Vezax on 25-man. I recently had a break, and just came back, so i havn't had any experience in the Icecrown Instances yet.

What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?

My last guild was Ovo. I decided to quit WoW, along with some other guildies, to try out a new mmo that was coming out (It failed horribly). I felt that Wow was slowly dying. And that there was not a whole lot to do anymore in the game. However, i started missing my friends and the raiding in Wow, and decided to give it another try, and i quite enjoy the game right now. The healing role suits me perfectly.

Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in in case we need to contact you?

Alleriana, my former main character.

If you are a cross-server applicant, name someone from your home server that can vouch for you.

What are your plans for the game? In what way would you like others to know you? Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.
Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state.

I don't really know what my plans are. I just hope to see some end-game content, meeting new people. Getting new friends. All that while having a blast. I consider myself a funny guy. Someone who can make other people laugh. Although i might seem like a guy who only jokes around, i can be serious, and always is serious when it comes to raiding and other times when it's needed. I'm also very helpful. If someone needs a helping hand, they can always ask me. If i don't ask them first. One thing i don't like about wow is the fact that people judge you by your gear.

Why did you decide to play this class?

I decided to make my Shaman my main because i've always liked them. Pew pew lazors. C'mon. That's just awesome. I really enjoyed healing in TBC, and would like to do it again. I also used to lead Kara raids in TBC. I see myself as a good healer and always trying to learn something new.

What do you think your class' role is in raid content?

HEROISM AND TOTEMS!! But that really depends on which spec that specific class has.

Comment on your build.

Chain Healing is probably the most efficient way of healing the raid as a shaman. Although i do like using Healing Wave more, i still think that maybe Chain Heal is slightly better. But i plan on maybe playing around with builds a little bit. I havn't had the chance to do a non chain healer spam build yet since the last major Shaman changing patch.

Why did you choose it?

I like healing.

What do you think of other builds of your class?

I love them. I had a hard time choosing what spec i should choose for levelling with. I did a bit of both. And love them. At the moment, my offspec is Elemental. I don't know if i'll ever get to try it out in a raids or just normal dungeons. But i'm probably gonna stick with Elemental. Enhance is cool, because you can bash people in the face with maces.

Why didn't you choose one of those? (important question)

HEAL

This guild

What do you look for in a guild?

Fun. Friendships and Raiding.

''Dead Men Raiding'' - What comes to mind when you see that guild name?

Wow raiders who wipe alot (?)

There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us?

Most of my friends are in DMR, and i was told it was it was a nice guild with alot of friendly players. So i looked you up and was amazed at how many games you play. I started reading your Philosophy and What we look for thread. And it really sounds like a guild i could feel at home with.

Who do you know in Dead Men Raiding? How do you know them?

Zeol, Leemadin, Aldaren, Maypal and all the crazy chaps from Ovo.

Have you read our 'what we look for' and 'philosophy' posts? What do you think of them?

As stated above, i have. And i like them.

Annoying questions

A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?

I'd probably just ignore it.

Cake or Pie?

COOKIES?

sheepy

thanks for your application - due to your current gear level we cannot offer you a raiding spot, we can offer you a social spot with a view to raiding in the future when you are geared up.

Please wisper an officer when you are online to get an invite to our social rank

Sheepy appears and begins to stroke my head. According to his slurred drunken speech I am "lovely and like a fuzzy felt". Thankfully he soon leaves and passes out somewhere. [/quote]
