This was a very enjoyable race for me.  Qualified 4th ahead of Anthony and behind Dee and started with a full race load of fuel.

I had a nice start and got passed Dee then pulled away for a couple of laps.  Anthony caught me up after a few laps and got passed.  Then Dee caught up but found me with a wobble on at "Oh Sh*t" and I knocked his front with my rear sending him into a spin, sorry again Dee .

Made my pit at 30 mins as did Anthony.  However, He opted for a 50/50 fuel load and I regained a position while he was filling up.  After the stop Dee was slowly reeling me in until he got passed in the last 10 minutes.

I finished 4th.

Of course during all of this Deetz and Manny where miles ahead. :D

Well done Manny, Deetz and Dee.  Cheers to Dee and Ant for some great racing.

My "man of the race" though is Dee.  He had horrible gear problems with the car refusing to shift into 5th gear most of the time.  I had a look at the replay mate and that looked like a nightmare, but you managed to keep very good pace.  I know when things like that happen to me it's very distracting and frustrating, I usually bin it :) .  Without those problems I reckon you would have been giving Deetz a hard time up the front :D

Lameduck

I qualified in last place. I finished :)last. (Ben doesn't count 'cos he started later)
Had a race-long dice with Steve and thoroughly enjoyed it. :D

Jamin

Apparently, I don't count, so no race report from me.

Mille Sabords

Yet another Thursday business trip, back home at 23:30... I had more than enough driving for the day though :)
This week is a maybe, the following is a no chance. No wonder I don't get bored with LFS at this rate!

Yes, I had a problem with my G25 H-shifter not recognising 5th gear most of the time.  Was temprimental during qualy, luckily I managed a good time to get 3rd on the grid, but all through the race it was very difficult to get 5th.

Lost 2 places on the first lap while I tried to figure out the problem. I wasn't going to give up that easy so did my best to carry on and try to shift from 4th straight to 6th where I could.  Sometimes I'd forget and it would work, or i'd get 9000rpms of neutral  :taz:  Good thing these cars have limiters or my engine would have gone pop pretty quickly  :norty:

I kept pace with the two in front, got the jump on Anthony when he pitted, and caught and passed Seany colse to the end.  Great racing!

The incident on lap 10 with Seany:  Not your fault mate, I saw you get out of shape so kept my foot down but decided I wasn't going to make it at the last second and tapped your rear, losing control.  Glad I didn't knock you off, was your roadspace anyway, hehe.
