I loaded the Gametracker page for our BC2 server this morning and low and behold found a bloody great big banner ad for tacticalgamer.com right in the middle of our BC2 server page.  It was a generic which had the following text on it:

Online Gaming                        Tactical Gaming           TEAMWORK
for Mature Gamers                tacticalgamer.com       MAIN OBJECTIVE

The ad was served using google adwords, so our own description on the server page led to a competitor advertising on it!   Is this something we should be looking at to promote our website and our community?  Costs Ã,£5.00 to set up and up to Ã,£0.01 per clickthrough and you can set a cap/limit on costs and vary the price on click.

What are your opinions about this please.

Also is there anyway we can see what kind of traffic is going to the competitor??   If there is lots then we should definitely look into it!
