Raid 09/06/2010 - DMR PUG!!!!!!!!

Right can i say a big thanks to the guys who set this up randomly last night after our failed attempted in naxx. All i can say is that it was the greatest pug i have been in for  long time only 1 wipe and that was on rotface, got the weekly and the other weekly done. But now on the a more serious note, and that is the fact that not only did we get 25 people from with in guild at the start, But when we lost some people to having to leave early or leaving the raid Without any warning! we managed to still fill up from within the guild itself!. Now its make me wonder if we are going wrong some where:g::g:. But Hey-Ho this is only a small thread to say thanks to the guys who set it up last night was a good laugh, and one i think we all needed!

P.S. - I mean it this is just a small footnote of a thread to say thanks to people who set it up. Any flaming done in here llike done in the past and i will come and hunt you down in Game with MAGIC pixie dust!(or arrange with the healers not to heal you a few times!:devil::devil::devil::devil: )

I think one thing from last night that will always stay with me is the fact that an un-named tank forgot to equip a rocket pack on herioc gunship. Makes me laugh thinking about it.

Turns out all you need to tank him though is a fury warrior, 5 healers spamming you and 4 battleresses. I will be sending an invoice to the un-named tank for my repair bill.

Had a lot of fun last night so thanks to everyone who took part.

That naxx undying run must've been one of the most embarrasing moments ever in this guild. Can we hang the persons that died instantly on sapp out to dry?

Padding, it is fine to get to know that you are not going to get Undying right on the first boss (Iceblcoks?). I remember doing it 8 months ago (I just checked my Safety Dance achievement from the same night to be sure when it ewas:) )with ToC/Uld gear when you couldnt do Sapphiron/KT unless you killed everything before and guess what happened - we didnt get it because one person got DC right at the moment Shadow fissure spawned under him in the last phase of the fight... man, were we p***ed  

On another note: Yesterday, ICC, Festergut. My bow went red 1 minute into the encounter. Who says hunter cant melee? I did 6K DPS and finally got my 1H axes skills to max  And also first time I didnt get ANY Vile gas

I'll try to run another undying run next week if i can when it resets. I'll try to post a calendar appointment for it, or announce it on the website

Anyway, really good (and a fun) run, I didnt really got bothered with the people leaving without telling (I heard some of them thought the raid was called???). The thing that worries me tho is the fact that we cant get the 25 mans running that WERE on the calander, a couple raids in a row now have been called but we can get a decent (read: not crap) group together without anything on the calander. Also this 25 man was totally diffrent compared to the "normal" 25 man guild runs, in the 25 mans on the calander I am most of the time /facepalming all the time but this one was waaay more fun!

Ty for the raid guys and hopefully we can continue today and get atleast VD and princes down!

Sorry but even if it is a full 25 man guild run (assuming alts unless I missed the forum post saying 25 mans are no longer locked), it wasn't started on a raid night and should not be continued on an official raid night (unless it's set to start/finish to not interfere with the main raid).

Yeah, main raids were cancelled for the week so we formed the pug run instead.

Standard pug rules : 1 wipe and leave.

Disappointed that people didn't leave at rotface, however we can work on it more tonight

Well another poor turn out for 25 man

This can't carry on and we will not allow it. As such the officers are looking to cancel 25 man raids until we have a point with enough people willing and capable of progressing through ICC.
We are looking at people having a 66% raid attendance that 2 out of 3 nights to keep status as a raid member. If you can't make that then we need to recruit people who can.
We will also be deducting dkp for people who sign up but don't turn up.. You will lose 7dkp for a no-show
I'll ask people to check the calendar for Tuesday and sign up now .. If we don't have 25 people signed up ready to run we will be looking at canceling the 25man raids
I'm asking the Roll Leaders to look through attendance and pm people who are having problems hitting attendance levels.
When we understand how many people want to raid we will re-evaluate what gaps we will fill and what progress we can make

Bringing old new back to life here I know, just read the reply for the week this was posted there werent any raid nights so best things you can do when not raiding is raiding ofc!

EDIT: been reading a bit more upon this thread and seems like some people having problems with running 25 mans when the official ones are cancelled!? Is this just for a laugh or are you serious about punishing people and prevent them from doing ANY 25 icc this week???
