How come no one posted Bloons Tower Defense 4? That's a classic that'll keep you hooked for hours if you let it.

I'll second Bloons Tower Defense 4, it's very good. Not sure if it's the 'best' tower defence game, there are so many and all a bit different.

I've been playing these games:
Mardek RPG Ch.1
Mardek RPG Ch.2
Mardek RPG Ch.3

.. for about 7 hours now, and I'm only nearly finished the second. Says a lot that a simple (and free) flash game can have more game play than your average console blockbuster!

Action Turnip is another I played recently that probably meets the 15 minute mark.
