chicken-livered snipey person? that'd be me (sometimes) then

well, since the update you need to hold right click to zoom in, pick a stationary object - if anything goes infront/moves your target will reset the count down, once you've called in the strike there's a cool down period till you can call another - how long I'm not sure, I haven't timed it & I've usually been shot myself by that time, but it's a few minutes.

Best idea is to get yourself a mic LR & come play with us on teamspeak, it makes the game a lot more fun being able to have a chat while playing rather than feeling like your all alone in game.

The mortart strike tool is still buggy (got knows when its gona be fixed). Anyways, as long as you can zoom in with the striker you got a strike ready to be launched, you just need to target something. Even when the sound stops just keep holding the targeting button down and wait for it to zoom out and watch the fireworks.

I normally do not rant this much, but this really anoyes me.

indeed you did, stating something about not being tactical eventho i managed to destroy 2 mcoms with a tank, while rest of  the team was sniping, so i wonder who actually managed to do most for the squads towards the objective?
And the fact that you in acording with the ROA cannot dictate how a player uses a vehicle, tho you can dictate they cant spawn camp, hence i moved the tank out of spawn and still was warned with a ban for not doing enough for my team.

ROE (rules of engament by EA) is a set of rules that a server and its admins must follow, for the server to be ranked, not following the ROE can cause the server to be blacklisted and demoted to unranked. And is something ANY battlefield admin should know and have read more then once.

ROE can be found here

Yes some might say im being an A**, but 1. i do not wear the dmw tag in bc2, so im not affiliated with dmw officially while on the server. 2. i was tho only one focusing on getting the mcoms down, and if you dont think thats being tactical, then you probably should have another look at what your playing.

anyways this is not what this thread was for.

on topic: If anything moves infront of the target pointer while targeting a location, the timer resets, certain areas have dead spots where it just doesnt work for odd reasons.
Targeting a moving target is possible, but if anything breaks the LOS to the target pointer, it resets.
