I reckon this video is helpful for 10man heroic RS, with some handy positioning tips we could pickup:

good tips. But how much I dont understand all those scrolling combat texts... Is actually anyone able to watch it? And if so, does it have ANY sense to watch it? Yeah I know it is perfect for covering your ugly guildies that you dont want to see but other than that? :)

Doesn't look to different from normal just basically that you have fire mobs spawn from fireballs, 4 orbs instead of 2, and the fire / void zones come through in both realms so less space to move

Im happy to spend the whole night on it to be honest, with the strong group we normally have shouldn't take long :)

We weren't really prepared for our previous attempts at Hc - the group setup wasn't ideal and our normal mode tactics don't suit it. Could be doable if we tighten up on tactics, though only 2 guilds on Aszune have a 10man heroic kill, so it's much harder than the guys in the video make it seem.

Edit - Agree Dfe, I think that's just an addon for an addon's sake, serves no real purpose other than "OMG look at my pro UI". And there are no adds spawning on 10man btw, Jamie.

So we got our arses handed to us this time, but it wasn't a total waste. We seem to have P1 down nicely, I've been browsing Maintankadin for some tips. Here are a few things to consider:

- Some recommend 4 healers, 2 tanks, 4 DPS,  as the enrage timer remains generous even in heroic mode and it is doable, some say.

- Holy priest specced in Body and Soul for speed bubbles to negate problems caused by Soul Consumption.

- Paladins using Hand of Freedom on Soul Consumption to remove the snare effect on said debuff.

- Twilight realm tank reaching hard expertise cap (12%-ish?) to avoid getting gibbed by parry haste (dont know if healers think tank deaths are a problem or not).

- Using Aura Mastery + Shadow Resistance/Fire Resistance auras. As prot I'd have to choose between Divine Sacrifice and Aura Mastery, depends if Neil can fit AM into his build or not.

- Having one DPSer assigned to track the orbs and cutter timer in P2 then with a Macro announce the time to collapse on them. Eg "Collapse on me" spammed in /y /s. This may help relieve the burden on raid healers.

- Testing Grounding Totem to see if it eats the Combustion/Consumption. Apparently used to work, but some say it's been hotfixed, worth investigating.

Can't think of anything else at the moment.
