Can't join the server when de_meteora is running.
getting the error "missing map maps/ de_meteora.bsp"
It starts to download then pops the message.
I don't know if it just me or not, but I'll ask someone else to try it later.

Meanwhile, Boomer's fallen over and needs a hand.

Boomer needed an update and has been restarted.  I installed meteora but hadn't bzipped the map and put on the webserver for auto download. That's been done now and one Steam has finished updating CS, I'll test it out

what would be the probability of us being able to host a RO Rising Storm server? i.e resources etc. would we be able to get one running?

Tripwire has said that the orginal RO2 server files are the same ones for Rising storm....once updated:

"The actual dedicated server app for Rising Storm will be the same AppID in Steam as the RO2 server was when the game launches. The two games are essentially merged at release. If you already have an RO2 server, on the day Rising Storm launches (fully launches, not just Pre-order) when you update your server it becomes a Rising Storm/RO2 server."

Can you let me know if this would be possible.  I know your all busy so no rush if we can

We still had RO2 on BA4 and it's updating now. (large update)

Hi Guys,

Any news on being able to 'up' the RO2 server, i understand we have problems with it causing issues with MC and possibly other things but would like to try and get the server up not only for our members but to see if we can bring people in also as it is 'peak' time to do this seen as Rising storm has only just been released.  I understand it isnt really a priority game at the moment just wondered if there is anything we could do at all?

Unless someone has found a way to reduce the resource usage of Minecraft, we will have an issues if we start RO2.  I've posted up about it in the Server Admin section for discussion as to the way forward.

Ok thanks whitey, dont think I can see the server admin thread so if you can keep me updated it would be appreciated.

If we are unable to host a server in house I would be happy to host one on one of my 'spare' pc's if I'm permitted too I just don't want to miss the opportunity of bringing new players to the community whilst the new release is fresh.

We're looking at options, but tbh I am not going to get anything done personally as I am on holiday from tomorrow until 17th June and only posted my response yesterday!     One of the options is to up the RAM in BA4 to see if it removes the performance issue.   Running an RO2 server is not a problem and we might have to live with closing the M
We could rent an RO2 server or an MC server, but the rental costs would pay for a RAM upgrade etc, so you can see the loop we're going around!
