Hi OB, when you get a chance, could you kick Boomer and Meathook back to life please.:)

Should both be up. Let me know if there's any problems (we now have 32GB of RAM in the server so, fingers crossed, you should see an improvement in performance too).

Thanks OB :)
The improvements we're looking for are:
  • an end to lag spikes (random & when someone joins)
  • An end to the timeouts at map change (often over 2 mins, sometimes perma)
  • a cure for the joining problems we are all getting lately (See here)
apart from the lag, I'm not sure if the others will be affected by the upgrade but fingers crossed :)

I don't know how it got there, but Boomer currently has the workshop map cs_east_borough in the maplist.
Is it possible to vote maps onto a server from workshop?
It looks ok so could we have it on MH too please (I believe you just copy it into the list?)

I've just found another new map on Boomer, fy_pool_day_t0Baffling:blink:

Two more things:

1.
We're experiencing problems with sm_admin at the end of rounds.
We're unable to access the commands in the freeze-time at the end of maps, so we can't change maps from within the game.
The map-voting seems to take precedence over the sm commands, so I was wondering if we could have map-vote at the end of map disabled?

2.
At the end of a game the server doesn't change map so we are having to alt-tab to hlsw (see above)

Cheers :)

cs_east_borough has been added to the collection and map voting has been disabled on both servers.

fy_pool_day has been on Boomer since the 5th of April and cs_east_borough since 8th of June, not sure how they got on there though.

Blunt

Thanks Whitey,
I wonder whether we had something switched on during that period, that is switched off now.
In my screeny below, 'choose next map' is greyed out, perhaps if it wasn't, it would allow maps from workshop to be picked?

I may be barking up the wrong tree, but I'm intrigued to know how they got there.

Speaking of new maps, I've tested these and they look good.
de_spezia_pro
de_snowcapped_csgo
De_Bermuda
De_sewage

Could you please put them in the folder?

Added, servers just needs a restart.

New updated version of DE_CACHE is available. (note CAPS)
Re-designed for better gameplay.
If you get a minute could you stick it in the folder please? (but leave the old one so we can compare)

Meathook is not changing map after a match is finished, so if an admin isn't on the players are stuck with the same map over and over (and can't vote a new map because it's disabled/not working).

We're still not able to use sm_admin at the end of match as end-of-match-Map-voting is still showing on the screen, but voting doesn't seem to work.
(I think this a different map-vote to the one that's disabled? This option appears at the end of a match rather than being instigated by a player at any time)

Feel free to offer up suggestions on how to fix it as there's nothing that's changed in the config to make it behave this way so it must have happened as a result of a CS:Go update.  The version of Sourcemod we are running is still in Beta and the only updates available are the daily snapshots, I could try going to the latest snapshot build but I was hoping the next update would be to a stable release.

I haven't a clue :(
I'll have a look to see if it's the same on Boomer; I suspect it's not because the maps seem to change quite frequently.

Meanwhile, any chance you could stick DE_CACHE  into the folder please?
Cheers :)

Added to collection, will need a server restart to kick off the download.
