I was on last night but I had some blue screens so may of missed the fun through re-booting.

I did not notice any ADMIN calls in the text but I may of missed it through getting butt raped by Naldo (again).

I did see Dannage tell someone to leave it and never noticed any swearing or nastiness after that.

If I had seen the accusation I would of warned the offender but don't think I would of kicked him at that stage ( dependant of course on the reaction to the warning.)

As usual there was some banter on TS but no one mentioned anything going on, dont think le rouge was on TS but you'd of thought someone would of noticed if there was grief going down.

As a (general) rule dMw'ers don't whinge for no reason and we want to keep those members that we have so thanks for looking into it.

Just to be clear.. All I am looking for is an understanding.. This is NOT a witch hunt nor will I be dishing out repremands. Just tell me what you've seen. I can't seem to find any sensible logs on Clanforge so I'm going to have to see if WolfCon will tell me anything.

The server is just taking off showing signs of life on it's own. I am willing to tollerate a little bit of rule bending but not much and definately not abuse.

Dannage, please post here in as much detail as you can recall.

See I missed most of the chatter in the middle when I was trying to kill people. Only saw parts of the chat when I was dead. And Only found out yesterday that I can make the chat window bigger to see what was previously said.

Like said though, I was on the same team as La rouge and I never saw any base raping. Should get better at killing instead of moaning imo. But I will pay more attention to the chat instead of killing if it helps keep 1 person happy! Being as it was only 1 person moaning out of 16 on our team.

The "base raping" part is open for interpretation but the language used by DTR42 would have resulted in an immediate kick and probably a perm ban on any of our other servers. Le Rouge pays towards the running of the server and shouldn't have to put up with people talking to him like that on a dMw server.

End of the day, I didn't see it. So making more post's about it's not going to change this fact. I'll try and be an Admin before a gamer when its busy from now on though, try and get it more popular and try and get people using in game comms instead of teamspeak as previously discussed so that we can try and promote the dMw community. Get the server upto a higher rank and get it popular at all times!

Perm ban issued for DTR42.

Guys, as we move into the phase where the server is more popular (these are good problems to have in a sense) we will get these numpties on our server. I'm working with Whitey to make the logs available to all of us for review etc.

Please make sure that you have Wolfcon Sub-Admin running and that you are on the look out for ADMIN comments.

I think that encapsulates the difficulty of being an admin.  Unfortunately for the good of the whole the admins do need to keep an eye on the chat of the individuals.   It's a sort of personal sacrifice for the greater good.

The sacrifice that all admins make to maintain the gaming environment for others is and continues ot be appreciated.  It's not easy but thank you

I've got a bit of a suggestion of the back of this & also from trying to tell people not to spawn camp last night, would it be a good idea to remove some of the messages from the server? there's alot going on in the chat window at the mo with lots of messages about kills streaks & different stuff it can be easy to miss things.

I will look to reduce the "killing spree" messages. It was intended to be a bit of fun only and not integral to the game.

I removed the killing spree messages yesterday. Much better in the chat window.

Can we reduce the 4 rules down to something like "Server Rules: Join a squad, No spawn raping, Have fun!" or something simple like that one 1 line that everyone can see.

And put team balance on player death also?
