Deagle Servers at the LAN?

Guys,

What would be your thoughts on running a two deagle servers limited to 4v4?

I was thinking that we could take a few moments and look into a few Deagle maps and put up something different that people could play / practice on..

The Deagle Comp needs a new map to be played on..

Thoughts?

I am not to sure about this I have always loved the 2 v 2 I think it adds a little extra commardary to the weekend.  And lets face it works and works well.  

Maybe a map change but I like the format as is, becuase when the teams are playing you can watch what they are doing. Support you mates or watch some classic moments.

Just to follow up on this.
 
There seems to be some interest in the Map thread I posted. I think we should consider having a deagle server running throughout the lan for the following reasons:
 
1. It works on the LAN
2. The server can support it
3. Some interest as I mentioned
4. It works on the LAN
 
Thoughts?

Well, first off, I like the 2vs2, but maybe 3v3 would be fun too, you can then really start with tactics (maybe even more fun then 2vs3), but 4vs4 is about the same as a normal gunfight so then I'd rather play the normal cs:s.

And to your latter post, I'm all up for a constant deagle server possibly with the increased players during the non-tourney hours and ofcourse with new maps. I think its a great idea and all I can say is: WHY NOT?!

My only concern is that we don't want to draw people away from organised games and competitions. If that's not a problem then it's fine with me

I don't think it would detract at all to be honest. I could see folks using it for practice beforehand.
 
Can I take this as confirmation that we will run 2 4v4 deagle servers throughout the LAN? I'd like to post up some news for attendees as there hasn't been a lot of anything in the last couple of weeks..
