I am hoping to be able to get all the components from my currently-dead pc tested (and will see how this laptop copes with a lan!). Helpful testers very welcome, sure there'll be some beer in it somewhere!

I am looking to borrow a decent psu and if that doesn't help, a 775 motherboard that supports q6600 cpu. If that doesn't work... see what does work in other systems?

if anyone is able to help me out by testing one or more of my pc components I'd be beery grateful! What I think I need access to:
* 775 mobo
* working psu
* pc6400/5300 ram

Hiya man, I can bring along a 600Watt PSU for you and I might have some RAM around you can try with. I don't have a 775 mobo though.

Yes please, that would be excellent! Psu is my no1 suspect, and RAM can be a pita if it wants more than default voltage for its rated speed in my mobo.




If anyone has a 775 mobo and would let me check my CPU, gpu, etc then hopefully I can confirm which parts do/dont work.:-)
