Some what surprised that this hasn't been mentioned already -

Halo: Reach is an upcoming first-person shooter video game, developed by Bungie and published by Microsoft Game Studios for the Xbox 360 console. Reach will be released on September 14, 2010.[1] The game takes place in the year 2552, where humanity is locked in a war with the alien Covenant. Players control Noble 6, a member of an elite supersoldier squad, during a battle for the world of Reach.

I'm quite a fan of the Halo series, I havn't got around to playing odst yet, but I think I'll be giving this a shot.

I've got next week of work so the temptation to get it is strong, I struggle to justify paying so much for xbox games though so that's holding me back, I probably won't play online as my gold sub has expired so I'm not really missing out too much I guess.

I'm reliably informed by a collegue that Halo: Reach is pretty good, but very short (2 days in his case).

Might be better waiting until it's on budget..

I played through Halo 3 with a friend in about 7 hours, from what I've read the single player campaign is about 10 hours worth in Reach.

I'm not too sure what I prefer in a game, hours worth of gameplay but some of it might be a bit crap, or just cut out the filler & have a short game.

I havn't got round to getting it yet, I don't really play my 360 online so I'm in no rush to pay alot just to play the single player side of the game, but I have been reliably informed by a friend that it's good (if a little short)
