My name is Stacy, I am originaly from SE London but have been living in the Medway area of Kent for the last 25yrs, I'm the manger of a Digital print department of a fairly large print company.
I've been very happily married to the beautiful Chrissie for close to 30yrs and have a 24yr old son called Sam, << Hates WoW loves CoD (Not sure he's mine tbh ).

I have a stable Sky connection which rarely lets me down, pushes 6-7mb most times of the day.

My Rig.
Core i7 950
Asus p6t se x58 DDR3, 6gig DDR3 pc10666
BFG gtx285 oc 1gb

Been a player of Games in general what seems like forever, my main interest has always been fantasy based rpg, starting at tabletop DnD, and progressing on to Pc based stuff starting with txt adventures (The Hobbit) on through Dungeon Master (I still think I remember the mazes), went through the Ultima series and onto MMO's as time went by, joined WoW 3 weeks after start and have quit 3 times in 5 years to play (the next big thing) always returning with my hopes dashed and looking for a new home.

I was a slow starter in the raiding game, never really having the confidence to apply to a full on raid guild, my biggest experience has come since TBC both with Lemmings of the light and Elite Soldiers, (Both Wilgje and Floggy would be happy to give me a good reference I'm sure), I cleared Karazan with Lemmings as both Healer and Hunter           I recently (6 months) joined Lightning troopers and hoped to progress through ICC and this seemed to be thier plan to, but they appear to have had some Drama just before I joined, hence the very open and easy recriutment, we quickly lost both main Helers and the guild has now become stagnant with 285 members but rarely more than 3-4 online.
I hope I've answered 2 questions at once there ?

I have a few alts but rarely play them, I have learned that If I'm not on Starion I'm not happy playing.

Aszune born and bred.

My plans are exacly why I'm applying to DMR, I need to be in a stable fun environment to enjoy my gametime, I like to chat I like to share my feelings and now I have the confidence I like to Raid, I have a fair and edgy sense of humour and am happy to take criticism if it will improve my ability as a player.

I hate Self Healing in bg's. eg. one Holy Pally guarding the flag and 6 players unable to kill him before help arrives .... Its just WRONG (Rant over)

Have always been drawn to the Ranger classes and this was a very easy choice to make on day one, and has since been proven to be the one Toon I always return to.

I was sure over the years that my job was pretty much Max dps and the odd Kiting job, and I dont see that has changed too much aggro management is a must of course but our CC abilitys rarely come into use except to stop the odd add blitzing a Healer at a bad moment.

I played MM specc for the first few years of my WoW life come rain or shine, range is what I'm good at and I feel I'm in control of my damage and my Pet is secondary to me, then came the big Nerf (I think patch 2.2) and I was forced to switch to SV this was around the time I began raiding with more regularity, I love it, also everyone like to have Hunting party as an nice little bonus (dont they ?), I could see myself going back to MM at some point (not keen on the shot rotation takes more concentration than SV)
But BM is not suited to my gameplay style at all.

This guild

I'm looking for a friendly place to call home, I need a good social gaming experience and the ability to Raid and feel like I'm making a contribution.
DMR certainly makes me think you guys have a sense of humour, but from what I've picked up on the grapevine is you know how to achieve end game results without being a bunch of elitist number crunchers.
I chose you because you seem to have a stable mature non elitist feel to your forums and I hope this is reflected in the general day to day running of the guild.

I've read the philosophy and that is pretty much summing up what I need and tbh admire in a guild.

Annoying questions

Tricky question, I am very difficult to offrnd as I've seen and heard most things in my long and varied life, i tend to let most things go after a little chat to decide how offensive the dickhead really meant to be.
Easy question, My wife amazing Apple pie.

Thanks for your time, hope my wall of txt did not crit you for too much.

I am atm still in Lightning troopers and if I do hopefully get accepted I would like time to explain to my GM why I am moving on.

Starion Deltaar salutes you.

Sheepy appears and begins to stroke my head. According to his slurred drunken speech I am "lovely and like a fuzzy felt". Thankfully he soon leaves and passes out somewhere. [/quote]

Starion

Np I am the patient type.
