Dr Sadako

If bomb is down say 5 feet on the wrong side of a boundary, aren't the CTs allowed to advance those 5 feet and guard the bomb???

I was told it wasn't ok.   8O

Think it is strange that u can't guard a downed bomb as the objective is to prevent bombing. I understand that it is more questionable if the bomb is 50 feet on the wrong side of the boundary.

I belive (and agree) that if the bomb is spotted as down then CT's may move into positions to cover the bomb, even if this includes what were no go areas.

If you have the bomb then you are entirely within your rights to camp it, where ever it is.  Sorry you were told otherwise Sadako.

Sadako is talking about what happend last night. I never said it wasn't ok to cross the bounadry when the bomb was down. The bomb wasn't down 5ft from the boundary at all, it was half way down the corridor and it was down because a CT crossed the boundary and killed the bomb carrier.

In the fight that followed in the corridor, I killed Sadako and asked him why he was the "wrong" side of the boundary.

That's all that happend and no big deal really.

Total BS Aga but anyway.

(The map in quastion is de_cbble and the right bombsite.)

The bomb was fully visible from the outside and not at all half way down the corridor as you say.  I actually think it was less than 5 ft from the opening.

I shot the two first Ts sitting on the legde between the boxes and the ramp i.e not near the "boundary" at all. (Maybe we should add that the teams were 5 on 2 in T favour at the start of the round. And yes both sites were plantable.) The second T dropped the bomb.

As I entered the corridor I spotted the 3 remaining Ts at the end of the corridor on the other hand.

The thing was that I got a server csay that said it was illegal. That is what I questioned as the bomb was down.

sheepy

my view of what happend was, that i had the bomb, me and another t were 1/2 way down the corridoor crouched waiting for the others to catch up, at this point a ct came through the door and killed us, we had not made contact and were not visible from the door at this point, this is what the not alowed claims were about, not the going in 2 the  corridoor after the bomb was down.

soz if u got  hte wrong end of what i was tryin 2 say m8
the teams were not that sadako, i had just changed to t to sort out the team balance, and you were not on the ledge you were thru the door, as i was on the left of the hall [ not al all visible from the ledge]

OK, whatever 'actually' happened can't be proved without a demo, so as I think we have all got the idea of where the map boundaries are now, can we please close the thread at this point as nothing positive can come of further debate.  Thanks peeps.
