Anyone Up for a game on friday! Maby around 7.45 and get a game started

For anyone who has not played or made a Char will need to use the 3.5 char builder to play I will be making a custom campaign to get everyone into D&D and trust me mine are FUN

according to main and gorion anyway

I would like to join in but I have little idea how to play or start a chr sheet. Am busy tonight but might have time to read up tmw to get an understanding at least.

Failing that will try and get more up to speed for the next session

I played with no experience as had not dabbled in the area before.

Its good fun just to muddle through as I did. Krispy helped out alot and Gorion knows his stuff. We were not really playing by the rules for most of the time as Gorion was setting people feet on fire and doing crazy stuff that wasn't in the rule book.

I just spent 70% of my time laughing my behind off with Main and didn't really do much else apart from unsuccessfully trying to get killed by falling down Gaps.

Well, the key is experimenting and trying stuff out. Some times it works, other times you end up blowing yourself to bits.

Knowing some rules will help though.

As for the feet on fire thing, we did get some info out of him; although it was minimal - but hey, he was going to die anyways.

Is dualclassing allowed?

Was thinking about 1level rogue + rest mage for the extra 1st level skills and the ability to deal with some minor traps/locks. Since I'm also doing some rogue ish tasks right now. It would cost me 1 bonus feat, and 1x 8th and 9th level spells in the long run though, so it pretty much depends on what the future plans are.

I've also been reading through the players handbook, jotting down stuff about my class and other whatnots. I suggest the same thing for the other players; it's always handy to have a reference.

hopefully when the forums are back to normal we will get the section sorted, as for mutli classing just remember when we are level 10 fighters for ex you will be a about 5 - 5 mix

A Pen & Paper section with a D&D sub-section. That would leave space open for other games such as Cyberpunk or whatnot if others decide to set those up.

I'm no admin; but that should be adequate.

As for multi-classing, I'd only be interested in a single level of rogue in order to be able to fill that role; since we currently don't have any (a dungeon without traps and/or locked doors will be out of the ordinary). Since most of the abilities used correspond to my class it wouldn't be a problem. Although at level 10 I plan to have 1-9, rogue - wizard respectively; If such a thing is allowed. Ad&d 2edition allows such combination, not sure on D&D 3/3.5 editions.

Unless you have a specific requirement for a private area there's no point adding a user group for these forums.
