Guys,

LFD2 was one of the games that we did manage to play at the LAN last time. I think the comp went really well.

What are your thoughts on a Map and prizes for a 4 man team?

Always popular and always fun unless your on the team that gets a -2 score :)  I reckon depends on numbers but 2 lots of 4v4, then winners vs winners, loosers vs loosers.

I have had a little think about this and maybe a scavenge map would be the best solution with the best out of three rounds winning. No random tanks or witches that can be considered unfair advantages for the second team as they can prepare for them.
Teams get 3 points for a win, 2 for a draw and 1 for losing.
If we have more than four teams we'd have each team playing two games in the first round (random selection of which team plays which), top four teams go through to the next round (random selection of who plays who), winning teams through to the final and losers play to ensure they don't get raddished.

As a prize we could give bags of monster-mix Haribo? Losers get a pot of Vaseline and some Raddishes? (sorry got fixated on Blackadder III and the Prince Regeant)
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

Scavenge mode is a great shout - it's fast & furious, but also quite tactical.

Sounds ideal :) I will bow to you knowledge as I am truely shite at the game :)

Oooo glow in the dark!! You can never go wrong with glow in the dark prizes! Although I do like Haribo too.

The scavange map I think should be the one in the witchy map on the Sugar Plantation campaign, with the multi-story building next to it. I remember it causing lots of outrage and hilarity.

Do you want me to order anything or is it all in-hand? :)

Hi Pen,

I was going to PM you about this. I can order the prizes and swap receipts for cash out of the LAN proceeds if you like. Let me know if that works for you.
