£50 for the double room with single occupancy,  Â£33 per person per night in the twin room.

There are FORTY people now booked into the combined dMw LAN Party and DMR Guild Meet event.  The events are held at the same hotel at the same time as each other.  

Why not add your own name to the booking thread and meet up with the people you spend hours with each week on Teamspeak and in-game?

These are the people already booked to attend either the LAN (i.e. bringing your laptop or PC to game & social) or the Guild Meet (social only):

In the beginning...

A few blokes gathered in 2002 at a Jam Factory in Cambridge to have a few games and insist that the security called one attendee Lord of Jelly. Little did they know that a poor Hawaiian shirt would set the standard of things to come.

Then it grew. LAN III in 2003 contained 35 attendees and set a new low standard. So low that we broke the venue after too many blown fuses. The venue was moved to the Oliver Cromwell.
 
LAN IV sold out completely. LAN V included some new folks (one with his Mum) and Siamese Twins?..

The Oliver Cromwell hotel has treated us well. The attendees enjoying it so much that the last couple of years has seen a growing Thursday Night Club.

And now.. Nearly 10 years later, LAN XX is here!

LAN Highlights will Include:
    
  • All attendees to receive a free Fez and Commemorative Dog-Tag
  • Friday Night Steak Night!
  • Friday Night Hawaiian Shirt Competition!
  • Saturday LAN Competitions â€" Including Prizes!
  • Saturday Night Meal out on the town

             Booking has been open to International attendees and prior LAN attendees. The remaining spaces are now open for all dMw members to join us in this Epic Event! Not to be Missed!

There is a massive turn out for dMw's 20th LAN party which will include a DMR social meet alongside.  A lot of the DMR people have opted to join the full LAN party and do some gaming as well as socialising, some just for socialising.

My :2cents: is to book people, these lan weekends are a great fun and you will not regret anything if you go over, I've been to 2 lans so far and I'm not regretting anything so book now and have a great time!
Maybe there\'s something to be said for being different. We are who we are. What more could we ask for?

Booking for the DMR Meet will be open for a while, we have no fixed closing date in mind at the moment, but I think the planning committee would prefer to know as soon as possible if people want to go so that they can plan appropriately.

Ok I'm a fair bit confused now. I've already booked my flight and posted in this thread I wanted to book a room but don't see my name anywhere yet xD

I have booked my flight, reserved those days off in my agenda. Arriving friday, leaving sunday.
I want to attend the DMR Guild meet and book a room, shared if possible but single otherwise
I do not want to attend the dMw LAN XX

Now where is it that I sign/who do I poke/what do I do? ;-)

Look in the very first post of this thread.  You are listed at #13 just between Jewelz and Tanales.  

Call the hotel to book your room ASAP.  Details of the hotel are in this thread.  There's over 50 people booked into the hotel now between us and the dMw LAN so it should be a great meet! :thumbsup:

As a follow up - anyone who is coming to the DMR Meet or the dMw LAN needs to book their room asap. Also:

Remember to tell the hotel that you are part of dMw and give them your gaming name so that you get given the reduced rate.  It also helps us track who has booked and who is not booked.
