Black Op's - Monday Night League

Ive been thinking for some time now of running a 'Casual' league for the Monday night BO sessions.

Here's the idea.....

Using the new screenshot element of Steam, after every map (not round) i take a screenshot of the final standings (for the score's)

Every dMw tagged player will get that score/xp added to a league table, which i will post up every Monday night/Tuesday.  Each week their score will add to their original score from previous weeks.

I have been looking to see when we have most dMw'ers online on a Monday night and i believe its between 8 and half 9 ish.

If agreed, i will only take scores between these times.

Im on most, if not every, Monday night so it wouldnt mean any work for anyone else.

I will stress its only Casual..

Before i post it on the open BO forum i wanted to make sure this would be ok with you guys (Mainly the game leader Blunt)

Let me know what you think, thought it might spice things up a little

any little extras we can squeeze from the game to keep people interested is great by me.

The only caveat I have is that we've tried this before and have found that it can promote individual play over team play and that goes against our core principle.

However perhaps some sort of point-docking system could be introduced for failing to play as a team member or failing to try and complete the objective. The ability to ghost people when dead would make it easy to spot who's doing it. :devil:

i did think about that although i would expect all dMw'ers to know they have to work as a team, this is the main reason i would stress its only a casual thing.

The fact we dont have TDM or FFA on our server should give players no alternative other than to work as a team.

we could always run it as a trial to see how it goes, if it turns into players just looking after number one we could scrap it, i would also highlight in the open BO thread that we all must still work as a team and anyone obviously not working as part of a team would have no points posted

Actually, the other day we did have TDM on our server I liked it for a change.
I'll see what this brings...

Just give it a go and see what happens. If you see a server full of DA's then you know you've got a problem
