First of all, congrats to podium takers, that was nice to watch and quite an achievement seeing the quantity of dropouts.

This combo is way beyond my abilities to master, but I had found time to train a bit more than usual and felt ready.
Unfortunately the above training depleted my headphones batteries, resulting in the sound dying during the red lights...

I pitted (after sandtrapping the silent car at T1) and jumped off the chair to plug a reliable set (not battery powered) and... inserted the plug into a wrong part of the laptop. That caused (don't ask me why) LFS to minimize and then a total freeze of the system. Never underestimate the human factor in racing

Congrats to Dee Slider :yahoo:

From seven to three in 15 mins was somewhat expected by me, the car tempts you to be a bit quicker then spits you off.

At least it's over now and we get to race the fun cars for a bit :D

Rasta

Hello all dmr.

Congratulations to Dee Slider for a good win.

I would like to express my gratitude to the 'Host', for serving the racers of LFS (those who know about you), with a great server.  Thanks for a great race Y'day. It was was tuff for some racers who were clearly capable but had some bad luck on the day! Sean, thank you for the set. Tweaked the camber settings a little and the wings; ohh and the pressures :), could not have done it without that set. Thanx again.

Cheers to all who provide the competition.

Good racing. cya on track in the UF1! never ever driven that i don't think. still i will be there to av' a go!
Bye.

Hi Rasta, Welcome to the forum! Ahh I had wondered if you had tweaked the set alright  .   You will enjoy Uf1, its impossible not to :D

It was a race of two halves for me.  First being quite good, apart from rear ending Lapravotte in the first couple of laps (very sorry for that and well recovered by him, I think most others would have been off the track).  I made good ground from the back of the grid with my low down force setup and was having some nice racing with Dee and Rasta.  Second half was not so good, got quite frustrating at times :).  From watching the replay it appeared that my setup was great except for tyre pressures that where too high, as they went very cold in the last 30 mins compared to Dee and Rasta's.  I lost a lot of time in my pit stop too for some reason, I think I was too cautious trying to avoid speeding. :)

Well done Dee and Rasta.

:withstupid: Hi Rasta, welcome. :D
After a good start the BF1 spat me out very early on, bit of tyre on the grass and around I went. Tried to keep going but tyres would not cool from spin so decided to have a drink instead. Well done to all the podium people and all that finished.
Next week we will compare chalk and cheese :D
