Raiding position. I can raid all days of the week. But every second weekend, I have my kid here. So Friday and Saturday that weekend is no raids.

Where are you from?

From the town Askim in Norway.

 How old are you?

39 years old, and yes it is my first 39 year But from now on I am always 39.

 What kind of work do you do?

I have been on sick leave for 7 years now. But before that I worked with internet support, and some years in a factory before that.

Tell us a bit about yourself!

Well I am a single man, with a 13 year old daughter. She lives with here mum so I have here every second weekend.
I play a lot of WoW, and some fps games from time to time. And already ordered me a copy of Duke Nukem Forever, and it is on the postal office now

What kind of internet connection do you have?

I got a 20/5mb connection. Been stable and fine the 4 month I have had it.
What sort of frame rates do you get when playing WoW and is your computer current?

I upgraded to a 2600k Intel some month ago, 8Gb ram, Intel 160Gb ssd disk,  
and got a Ati 5870 graphic card. So I have about 100+ with everything on high
On my 24” +22” for ts beside it. So I am very happy about my comp this days.


How long have you been playing computer games and what kind?

Been playing online games for about 10 years now, Deltaforce, Battlefield,
Americas Army, CoD, Started wowing 4 years ago I think. Tested most of the new mmo's to.
 But always wowing to. Been running a gaming clan for 10 years, called NAF.
But we been inactive now for 2 years or so. Had wow guild the first 2 years I played.

What kind of raiding experience do you have?

TBC
Raided Karazhan with my own NAF guild, that was my first raiding ever, we where there for a long time.
Think we cleared it just before LK expansion came out. I started playing as TBC came out, so levelled true most of it.

Wrath
Naxx 10 cleared with my Druid and Priest. Ulduar with Priest, but never cleared.
Toc with Druid both 10 and 25 cleared. Icc 10/12 with druid. Shaman Icc 12/12 both 10 and 25 (King Slayer),
 and 9/12 HC in both 10 and 25. My mage has only been to some random pug raids, mostly healing raids as I love healing.
Cata
Been Raiding on my druid, 12/12 with my current guild Midgard, and halfus HC. I like the druid now,
 as they got all the standard heals together with there hots. Love druids so match that I now got 2 raid ready
Got my mage up to raid ready, but not been any place yet.
What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?

I am today in Midgard, a Norwegian speaking guild with some rl friends.
But I am looking for a guild to raid progression, with my main.
And do some proper hs raids to. My alt's probably gone stay in Midgard so I can play with some rl friends from time to time.
And maby help them out if they need in some raids, if it don’t collides with your days.
I now level up another druid, so they wont feel like I left them

Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in in case we need to contact you?

Crankymage 85. And a new druid, Grumpydruid he got to 85 in 3 daus 20hour played time
I got Crankypriest, at 85. But she is mostly enchanting my stuff. And my shaman is 85,
but she has been standing stile there. Got Grumpyhunter at 85 but mage dps was more fun.
 Got Crankylock at 80, not sure I level it. And a pala at 82. So with my banker I now don’t have any more char slots :/

What are your plans for the game?

I love raiding, and hope to find a good raiding guild, with steady progression, and some fun.
I am not that hard core raider, so your guild relay sounds ok with your philosophy and all.

In what way would you like others to know you?

I hope to be a steady raider, who knows what’s he is doing. Knows how to play my class.
I like to think of my self as a series dude, who commits fully. I always try to be ready for raids,
with pots/food/flaks and be ready in tacs and all I can do myself.

 Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.

I enjoy the game, coos it is always some thing to do, eather way you want to play it.
 My personality can some times be seen a bit cranky, there by my name. But as everyone else, I got my ups and downs.

Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state.

I have been angry at the healing change for some time, but I see now with better gear it is not that big of a deal any more.
So the only thing that is a bit annoying right now, is the speed of new patches. Or the lack of patches
 I am awaiting 4.2 eagerly for my Druid.
But it is said to come next week so, lets hope so. Ready for some new stuff now.

Why did you decide to play this class?

Well I play a lot of classes, got 8 of them over level 70. 6x 85's.
But in this expansion I have been playing my druid 95% of the time, as I love the healing on it now.

What do you think your class' role is in raid content?

My role is mainly raid healer, with helping hots on tanks. But I can tank heal to, as every class can now.
But you probably want the pala there. And my druid speciality is healing on the go, running around healing everywhere is fun.


Comment on your build. Why did you choose it? What do you think of other builds of your class?
Why didn't you choose one of those? (important question)

My build is almost the cookie cuter resto, Got the effo and 2 points in faster nurish as I like to have that option.
And nurish feels way better when it is at 1,5sec cast. Got 1 point in spell damage reduction, as a filler to get to later tiers.
But is is good to have to in hc and progression raids. Got the normal 8 points in balance for speed and mana reduction.
And the 2 usual for more manapol in feral.

I got Boomkin as of speck, I played it some few times in BH when we only need 2 healers, and some HC's.
But have not raided with that. Feral I don’t like, as I hate meele, running after targets

What do you look for in a guild?

A series raiding guild, with the main focus on fun. I don’t like 6 days raiding, screaming crazy hard core raid leaders.
I want a guild that takes it's members series, and don’t just see us as items to get epicks.
We all play the game for fun, and drama I got enough of in rl.

''Dead Men Raiding'' - What comes to mind when you see that guild name?

I hope we don’t die that match Hopefully it means that even dead beaten rl men can raid to.

There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us?

Coos of the philosophy, and the raiding times and days, sounds like me. And the 20 years age limit is also good

Who do you know in Dead Men Raiding? How do you know them?
Have you read our 'what we look for' and 'philosophy' posts? What do you think of them?

I don’t know anyone here I think, I found the recruiting post in the forums.
And now you might have a small spot open for healing druids to so I have to apply
Well it isn’t closed at least so I have to try.


Annoying questions

A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?

Hopefully I just misunderstood him and it is sorted fast in a wisper.
Else I have to try resenting with him/here, and sort it out in private.
If that some how is not possible I have to ask some officer for help.

After the officer in midgard has had a meeting about me, after i informed them about my aplication here,
the situesion in Midgard is changing rapidly. So i am now starting to be a bit unshure what todo.

They actualy offering me the raid ldeader role now, so i feel it will be strange not having my main there
if i say yes to that.

So i was wodnering is it posibel to put this aplication on hold over easter?
And i use that time to figure out what todo.

Helo again I must say.

I am reapplying to your guild. And this time the app will stick to the end.
I know you don’t seek druid healer right now, but it says limited, so I have to hope and try.

I know got 2 druids, so I will leave Midgard with this Crankydruid, and try to join you guys and get a bit more series raiding done.
Midgard is keeping there casual status, and there is nothing I can do about that.
But I need a bit more, so as I like the raiding times and your philosophy I must try to get in here.

Hope it wont be negative that I have applied more or less 2 times now.

Welcome back ... we will have another look. Saying that we are running with 2 resto droods at the mo so not much room. One thing we are missing at the moment is a boomkin would that be of any interest to you ?

Well i am a healer of hart, and my dps as boomkin sucks :/
I am not very good at the dps part, and i probebly would have to say now to that.

I am maby over 12k dps in BH (only raid i ever tryed dps), but i got 10k to 15k Hps
so it would be wrong to not use me as healer.

Hello again all.

Well i see you guys need healers now, not druids. But i got all the 3 others at 85 to now.
So i would like to apply for a healing spot, you can tell me what class i should focus on.

I got time and some gold so i can have ether ready fast for raiding.
And 4.3 is aorund the corner, so it is the right time to change main to i feel.
I have been playing druid all cata now, so a change would be nice to so.

I do prefer the priest after some testing this weekend.

The pala is all new, got to 85 Thursday this week.  
The shaman I played a lot in Icc, but has been on standby in cata
The Priest i played in Ulduar/Nax if i remeber corect.
